Maison avec jardin à Faro, Portugal - chez Carla

We live in Gambelas, a residential area close to the university of the Algarve, close to Faro beach and close to Faro city center We bought the Gambelas house in November 2021 and we have totally redecorated it to make it our special nest - all the photos are for the Gambelas house (the one currently available for exchanges). We have made several exchanges with this house and the most recent reviews are for this house. Reviews prior to 2021 are for another house, which we have sold. Description for the Gambelas house: it has a bright lounge-dining room, a kitchen, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and one toilet. It is possible to accommodate another couple, by using the basement (with a bathroom and a double futon). We consider the house to be comfortable and functional. It is bright and has several cozy outdoor spaces to enjoy a meal and to relax at the sun (or shade) depending on your preference. We have some plants in pots and we would appreciate if you could water them during your stay. There is a children playgound nearby. We love pets, but we currently have no pets in the house (but would not mind taking care of yours, if you have any). We do not smoke and would prefer if you only smoked outside the house. We love travelling, so feel free to send us an invitation for an exchange. We try to answer all messages shortly, but sometimes (due to a heavy work agenda, we may take some days to answer - sorry about that). A final cleaning fee of 50 euros is requested for guest point exchanges.

Our house in Gambelas is located in a lovely and quiet residential area, near the University of Algarve campus. It is perfectly located to explore the beautiful nature reserve (Ria Formosa), Faro island beach and Faro city, all within 7 minutes’ drive and 30 minutes cycling from the house. This location is perfect for walking and cycling around – we do it daily. There are great opportunities to do water sports, both in the sea and in Ria Formosa (Stand Up Padel, kayak, surf, swimming, etc) and it is also possible to do horse riding nearby. We have three bikes which you can borrow. We love living here and hope you also enjoy your stay in our (your) home. We will give you special hints to explore this wonderful area. Our neighbors are lovely and can provide help, if you need.
