150 m2 flat on the top floor of a 3 unit 1950's building. Has 6 large rooms with lots of windows and natural light, as well as a large, 50 m2, private terrace.
- 2 bedrooms (1 with king size bed, 1 with queen size bed and balcony)
- Office/Play/Craft room
- Fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, etc.)
- Dining room (table extends to sit 8 to 10)
- Living room ("smart" TV, cable, Netflix, Internet)
Also : laundry room (washer, dryer), 1 full bathroom, 1 powder room/water closet. Air conditionning, WiFi with high speed Internet, BBQ on terrace, 2 bicycles.
Children are very welcome. We are the happy grandparents of a 17-year old boy and a soon-to-be 6-year old girl, who live with their parents in the flat beneath ours. We have plenty of toys, games and books for children.
We could also discuss the possibility of lending you our car whether you include yours or not.

In quaint St. Lambert, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence river (3 blocks from home), 10 min. from downtown Montreal. St. Lambert is known for its charm, green spaces and pretty boutiques on Victoria avenue, the neighborhood's main street. You'll find: bakeries, cheese shop, wine store, butcher shop, fresh pasta shop, chocolate and ice cream shops, specialty beer shop, olive oil shop, grocery store, farmers' market, many good restaurants, cafés, boutiques and much more.
From our home, downtown Montreal is quickly and easily accessible by car, public transport (bus and subway - Longueuil station; or train in St. Lambert that takes you directly downtown), and there is a very good bicycle path network (to go downtown or around the region, in the nature, close by).
We know mostly of the cultural aspects and activities in Montreal and will happily make suggestions of things to do, if you wish. There are many festivals all year round and especially in the summertime, including lots of free outdoor performances. At all times there are lots of music shows of every kind (jazz, classical, indie and more), and many great exhibitions in museums and art galleries. And great food!
For more sport or nature oriented activities in and around the city, we can find out for you (if you're up to it, there's a permanent wave for surfing and rapids for rafting close by on the St. Lawrence river!).
Eastern Townships and Laurentian regions are less than 1h away (hiking, mountains, lakes, skiing, etc.); Ottawa 2h, Quebec City 2h30, Toronto 6h and New York 7h by car or bus (11h to NYC by train from the St. Lambert train station).
