Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
We have a 5th floor 1 bedroom apartment in the exclusive Marina Part Apartment complex right next to the Danube river. It's our second home that we use when we visiting family and friends in Hungary. So it is fully stocked with everything you would need.
The complex has 24/7 porters, a convenience store and an outdoor free gym.
The apartment has 1 bedroom, an open plan sitting room/kitchen with all mod-cons such as dishwasher, bathroom and a separate toilet and there is secure underground parking for your car! There is also a big balcony with river views, perfect for those alfresco breakfasts or dinners.
Digital nomads, home workers welcome. The pandemic gave me the chance to work from my Budapest apartment for longer periods and I have set up home office corner with adjustable height table, swivel computer chair, an HMDI cabled screen, bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Just bring your laptop, this place has everything else.
HOUSE RULES:
1. For GP exchanges we have a 30 euros cleaning fee. I do not live in Budapest, so I need to have someone to prepare the apartment in between guests. The fee is kept as low as possible, so please do not expect 5* hotel cleaning, but the place will be clean with bedding and towels prepared for you. For reciprocal exchanges I will pay the cleaner myself if you don't have a cleaning fee.
2. Please put all furniture / things back to where it was on your arrival.
3. Please take any rubbish and all perishable items to the communal bins.
4. Please leave all used bedding and towels in the laundry or on top of the washing machine.
5. The apartment should be fully stocked with everything for you could need for cooking, washing or cleaning. If there is anything missing, let me know.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Marina Part complex is a luxury apartment complex on the riverbank with lots of greenery, lovely river walks and views and it's only 5-10 minutes walk from the underground/metro (Gyongyosi utca on the No3 blue line) and takes around 20 minutes to get to downtown.
You can also hire e-scooters, there are always some parked nearby and use the dedicated cycle lanes to go to Margaret Island or to downtown.
There is also a shopping centre / plaza 5 minutes walk away (Duna Plaza).
Budapest is famous for the baths and spas and Dagaly Bath is the closest; we usually just grab a towel and walk there: http://en.dagalyfurdo.hu/
Next to Dangly is Duna Arena, a world class swimming complex where you can swim for less than 3 euros. Or if you want more fun, one of Europe's biggest water parks, Aqua World is just 20 minutes by car.
Many tourist attractions are nearby to such as Heroes Square, City Park, the zoo, Szechenyi Bath, Margitsziget, but all of Budapest's attractions are easily accessible from our apartment by public transport or car.

Looking for swap to apartment near Disneyland Paris anytime.
For Xmas NYE period, anywhere warm with fireworks would be considered, but Madeira preferred for 2024.
In the summer I would like swap to any mediterranean sea islands or Canaries.
For winter 2025 - preference would be anywhere warm, with Costa Rica as the most preferred.
Also looking for swaps to long weekend city breaks in Europe
