Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We are living in Neufchâteau. It is in the south of the Belgium = the Ardennes. The Ardennes region offers you a surprising range of treasures, as much in leisure (for the all family, the small one are not forgotten), sports, gastronomy, culture. Visit one of these regions and let yourself be guided by the essence of the forests, the murmur of the streams, the picturesque paths and the green valleys.
To really enjoy the Ardennes you should choose the small roads, and discover its wonderful castles, monasteries and country inns where you can stop for a treat of trout fresh out of the stream, or for the adventurous, a piece of juicy wild boar. To sample all the cheeses and beers of the region is serious work.
This tiny kingdom (Belgium) in the heart of Europe is multicultural and multilingual with a lot to offer in a small area. Medieval cities, incredible collections of Flemish Art, rich combination of castles, gardens and canals, diversity of architecture, festivals galore and art nouveau make Belgium the perfect tourist destination. Belgium is becoming increasingly known as a gourmet destination. You can delight in fine chocolates, enjoy Belgian fries with mayo, savor fresh mussels from the North Sea and then wash it all down with a Belgian beer – over 400 available. Anyway you slice it, everyone leaves the table satisfied.
We are in the Center of Europe and we bordered by the following countries:
1) PAYS-BAS(Holland) about 1 H 30 drive
2) GERMANY : ± 1 H 30 drive (Trèves, Aix la Chapelle)
3) FRANCE(the north): ± 1 h 00 (Metz, Nancy) drive and 3 H 30 drive from PARIS very easy by train).
4) GRAND DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG (splendid to visit): 40 minutes drive (Luxembourg)and a lot of concerts in the fabulous Philharmonique center(www.philharmonie.lu)
5) LONDON: (by train with the Eurostar), about 4 hours by train.
