Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our home is a newly-renovated townhouse apartment over 2 stories and doorfront access to the best of Glasgow.
This welcoming home includes over 4 bedrooms including 2 queen sized bedrooms with en-suites and 1 bedroom with a double bed, downstairs. Upstairs, a temporary double bed can be added to become an extra bedroom, if required. The spacious kitchen offers full ammenities and includes a dining area for 7 people. The lounge and games room each include large flat screen smart televisions, with the games room offering a gaming computer, consoles, and a place to relax with and a British standard sized pool table. A laundry room is located downstairs and the back door leads to a sun-trap patio space with a table and chairs overlooking the shared back garden. Top speed ultrafast wifi is avaliable throughout the house.
Built in 1875, our townhouse has recently been modernised to a high standard, and retains many of the original features found in the architecture of the time. Each upstairs room has 12 foot high ceilings with cornicing, a view of the private communal gardens in the front, and the beautiful church steeple at the back. Our neighbours are quiet and friendly and traffic on the crecent is very limited.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We love where we live! Situated within a quiet, picturesque crescent, our townhouse apartment faces two private beautiful communal gardens, in addition to our well-tended garden in the back.
Our home is located in one of the most enviable parts of Glasgow's West End, near the recently rated ‘coolest street in the U.K.’ Glasgow has ranked in the top 10 of Time Out's best cities in the world in 2019, and the third 'coolest street' in the 2022 Global Travel Bible.

The Crescent has an upscale restaurant within 30 seconds from our front door, and wide range of excellent cafés and restaurants all within a five minute walk. All required amenities are within a 2 minute walk, though you'd never know it by looking out our windows.
The quiet meandering Kelvin River is minutes away from the entrance of the Crescent, the perfect place for walking, jogging, or cycling. It provides the treed scenic route to the Botanic Gardens and Byres Road, the central artery of the West End.
Kelvingrove Park, one of Glasgow's largest and greenest of parks, has a path directly accessible from the Crecent, and sits beside the majestic buildings of the University of Glasgow. Through this park - 8 min walk - is the world famous Kelvingrove Museum, newly refurbished, and boasting some of Europe’s great art. The Hunterian Science Museum and Art Gallery are also local eminent West End features.
Fifteen minutes on foot begins Glasgow’s City Centre. But for those needing quicker access, a subway stop (Kelvinbridge) is only a one minute walk from our door, and leads to most of main destinations of the Glasgow tourist circuit. If you're interested in shopping, you'll want to know that Glasgow is the UK's top shopping destination outside of London, just a short subway ride away.
Glasgow is an excellent base from which to see all of Scotland. Our home is a 3 minute drive from the main motorway, or a 6 minute subway journey to the main train stations, with trains that will take you throughout the country. Edinburgh is a 40-minute train trip from Glasgow, with trains running every 15 minutes.
Glasgow is close enough to Edinburgh to take in the many events throughout non-stop festival season, but just far enough away to get a needed break from the crazy pace of Edinburgh during the season.
