Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Thank you for visiting our home listing. My mom lived in this house for 25 years and created a tropical botanical garden with butterflies everywhere. Now she is with the angels and the Oasis is our family home and is available to receive you.
This non-smoking, pet-free, carpet-free house is classic Florida. Up to six people can be comfortable in this single-level split plan that provides plenty of space indoors and out.
Come to Boynton Beach to see butterflies in the garden, swim in the pool, sip wine on the dock, and dip your toes in the Atlantic Ocean. There is so much to enjoy on a visit to South Florida where you can enjoy the Sunshine State amenities.
Our home, "The Oasis," is quintessential old Florida, where you can relax and enjoy a classic Florida lifestyle.
This humble home was built in 1979 and is all original and beautifully maintained with a retro vibe. A walk-through living room separates two sides of the home. A large eat-in kitchen and an ensuite primary bedroom on one side.
- The main bedroom has a king-size bed (183 x 203 cm/6'0" x 6'8") that overlooks the pool and patio.
The other side of the home has two bedrooms and a cabana bath that provides direct access to the patio and pool.
- The second bedroom has a queen bed: (153x203 cm/5'0" x 6'8"). There is some road noise, so this guest room is not a good fit for light sleepers.
- The third bedroom has a twin trundle bed (two 92 x 188 cm/3'0" x 6'2" beds). This room also has a full-size washer and dryer, and a desk, so it also serves as the laundry room and an office for working at home.
The primary living area is a covered patio with a large tile-topped table with comfortable swivel dining chairs, a small poolside refrigerator, plenty of entertaining space, and a bar sink. Ambient and overhead lighting and fans make this the primary gathering space during the day and evening hours. A smart TV in the living room has all the apps. You can use any app (please select guest) or log in with your own streaming services.
The pool area extends to the dock and garden. Add in the enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, and you are ready to plunge into South Florida's tropical living. A paved garden path wraps around the yard and provides easy strolling in botanical splendor (you can see that we am very proud of the garden!). You can end your days with a BBQ using the easy-start gas grill on the patio.
Our butterfly garden is home to more than seven species making our Oasis a place of peace and tranquility, even on a popular road and near to all amenities. Built in 1979, the home has some quirks and cosmetic cracks in the kitchen tiles, this is like a part of South Florida history.
The Oasis is available very often; please ask whether it is available for any dates that work for you.

Le mot de la fin
- Tropical oasis: garden, kayaks, pool, dock
- Humble home filled with love and kindness
- 3 miles from the beach and fun at home
- Florida at its finest with outdoor living
The pool is not heated because of our sub-tropical climate. It is very comfortable to swim in the pool from March through October. Note: There is access to the pool from the house and small children would need to be carefully attended to. We especially caution those with toddlers and young children to consider this safety requirement as the pool is part of the outdoor living space. The dock and canal also require attention, for safety reasons, children would need to be attended to at all times. Thanks!
We welcome guests with the understanding that you will leave the home the way you found it. In some cases, a cleaning option is not available and you will be responsible for preparing the home for the next guests. In this case, I will put you in touch with the next family so you can work out the details.
For most exchange guests, you will clean and prepare the home for the next guests as described in https://silver-lining.blog/homeexchanging/departure-checklist/ (Back-to-back exchanges are most likely to occur in the summer months.)
Another option that might be available (not guaranteed, depending on dates and the next guests' arrival) is for you to do the tidying up and leave the cleaning to a professional cleaner for $200. Totally up to you!
An independent living space at the Oasis shares the kitchen wall and the roof but is completely separate and private. A long-term tenant lives in this separate living area with a dedicated parking space, a private entrance, and their own patio, so both sides have complete privacy.
With more than 51 exchanges, we have happily enjoyed reciprocal exchanges, non-reciprocal exchanges, hospitality exchanges, and exchanges using guest points. As a traveler, we will respect your home as we expect you to respect ours.
Please let me know if you are in the area. I would love to meet you and introduce you to the area. If the timing is right, I can take you for a boat ride (Freedom Boat Club is how I boat every week).
