Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement

We live in a 130 m² flat, on a building, in one of the widest avenue in Zaragoza Centro. It is just five minutes walking from the Corte Inglés store, the main Spanish department store, and the town centre.
The house consists of a 30 m² dining room, a 16 m² kitchen, one bedroom with two beds, two individual rooms, and the main suite, with a bathroom. There is also another 8 m² bathroom.

We have high speed internet access without limit, wifi connection, three flat screen TV's, Wii and Play Station 2, full equipped kitchen with silestone counter tops, dishwasher, oven and microwaves oven, glass-ceramic hob, washing machine, coffee machine, freeze and fridge. The house is full of light, with wooden floors, air conditioning in all spaces and central heating.

Although we live in the city centre, it is a very quiet street during the nights.

Zaragoza is the fifth city in Spain by number of inhabitants (675.000). It is situated in the centre of a circle with the rest of the main cities in Spain, Madrid (the largest city in Spain, and its capital), Barcelona (the second largest), Valencia (3th), everyone at 300 km distance. At the same distance we can also find Bilbao and San Sebastián. All of them are connected with Zaragoza by highway. Zaragoza is also connected with Madrid and Barcelona by high speed train in just 80 minutes.
Zaragoza has also connections with Italy, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Seville and the Canary Islands, some of then with low cost airlines.

Zaragoza is not far from the Mediterranean sea, only two hours from the beaches of Costa Dorada in Tarragona and Valencia. At the same time, Zaragoza is also two hours from the main sky resorts in the Pyrenees range.

Zaragoza is the best place for Mudejar art. Visit the Aljaferia and La Seo Cathedral. Don't miss Iglesia de San Gil, San Miguel, La Magdalena and San Pablo. The Roman theatre, Roman baths and the museum of Foro in Plaza de las Catedrales are worth seeing. La basílica del Pilar stands in the middle of the city to be seen and admired.
Tarazona, Daroca and Calatayud are cities full of Mudejar art.
Visit Monasterio de Piedra if you like nature. Lakes, waterfalls created by the river Piedra.

The weather in Zaragoza varies throughout the year and the climate is often describe as 'continental'. This means warm summer and cold winter, although temperatures rarely drop below 0°C / 32°F during winter months. The temperature in the summer months fluctuate between 25°C and 35°C.

People from Zaragoza are considered very friendly people. There is a lot of life in their streets, and it is a funny city, specially for young people during weekends. The city center, where we live, is full of shops, restaurants and cafes.
There are also a lot of commercial malls in the surroundings. Zaragoza is also called "the city of shopping".

In Zaragoza you can practice a lot of different sports, and there are some sport clubs you can enter as a member for a short period of time. At the same time, Zaragoza has teams in all the major Spanish leagues like basketball, handball, tenis, golf, volleyball and of course, soccer.

The most typical dishes are vegetables (borrajas, cardo) and ternasco (lamb).
Zaragoza is famous for its tapas. There are always competitions going on to choose the most original and sophisticated tapa.
Cariñena, Somontano and Borja are considered the best wines of the Aragon area.
Goya, Buñuel, Baltasar Gracian and Miguel Servet were very important people born in Aragon.
If you have time visit the three Cister Monasteries called Veruela, Rueda and Piedra.
And the best, enjoy its people.
