We offer our home: a spacious (140 m2), newly renovated, outside traditional, inside eclectic family house in a quiet area of Mezőkövesd (130 kms from Budapest). The house is ideal for young families with children as it has 4 bedrooms, a comfortable living area, a kitchen, a dining and 2 bathrooms. We have a big garden around the house, which is perfect for outdoor dining and there are lots of toys for children to play with (big trampoline).
If you like the traditional and modern feeling in your life, enjoy the space in a big garden, want to play with your children in a comfortable house and a big garden, you can feel yourself at home in our home.

Our little town is only for a one-hour drive from the capital city, Budapest.
Mezőkövesd is famous for the Matyó folk art, which became a part of world heritage in 2013. Our town is the centre of Matyó culture and hosts several festivals in the summer. The most famous is the folk dance festival in the beginning of August. If you like special folk culture, you will be rich in experiences, because you can visit several workshops in connection with embroidery, furniture painting, pottery.
The bath in Mezőkövesd called Zsóry has 23 pools (thermal spa, adventure bath, swimming pool, open-air bath with water slide park) in a beautiful 11 acre park. There are pools with elements of experience for both children and adults (http://www.zsory-furdo.hu) . But you can enjoy with your children several spas in this countryside (egerszalokfurdo.hu/en), the most famous is the cave bath in Miskolctapolca (http://www.barlangfurdo.hu/en/cave-bath).
The historic city of Eger is also for a 20 minute drive. Eger is best known for its castle, baths, historic buildings of the medieval downtown, and for the red and white wines. There are several vine cellars around the town open for visitors and organizing tours to vine cellars (http://www.eger.hu/?lang=2).
If you like to take a hike, you can find a lot of forest road in the Bükk National Park, some caves and castles in this countryside. Our favourite place is a little old village called Hollókő with a world famous folk culture (UNESCO) and a fantastic castle (http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/401).
