Our home is a unique Mudbrick House, with a separate guest cottage. Originally designed and run as a lodge. Made from Mudbrick and macrocarpa timber the property has this amazing atmosphere. We have used it as our private home for 10 years. It has an awesome location being 40 minutes from Nelson, 40 minutes from Blenheim and 20 minutes from the Marlborough Sounds. A great location to base yourself in and make the most of the top of the south island. We are on a 20 acre lifestyle block, 5 acres in garden. We have cows, chickens, cat, dog, ducks. Dont panic you wont have to look after them, we have family come in and take care of them. We are a northfacing suntrap - sun and privacy all day, being the only home in the valley itself. The rest of our small valley is farmland with a stream running down the centre. The mainhouse has 3 bedrooms, one with a superking bed and ensuite, then a queen room, and kids room with a set of bunks. We have a kids lounge full of games, the adults lounge and kitchen are all open plan with large open fire. The kitchen is decked out with everything you need - as Tania is a chef by trade. A gorgeous conservatory suntrap overlooks the valley and an outdoor living area - with an outside fire and great BBQ. A stones throw from the main house is a guest cottage. Two separate suites, both with superking beds and full ensuite bathrooms.
Additionally we have a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment in Central Auckland, a block down from the Sky Tower.

Our home is located in a small rural village halfway between Nelson and Blenheim. 40 mins either way. Our village has a garage providing petrol, a farm supply store - which has some dry goods,which doubles as the post office, a cafe and takeaway - world famous mussel pies, and a small rural pub. For fine dining you need to drive to nelson or Blenheim. Our village is a definite sleepy town, we tend to go into Nelson or Blenheim twice a week to the supermarkets and stores. We are the gateway to the Marlborough sounds - so have plenty of hiking and kayaking on our doorstep. Abel Tasman National park is 1 1/2 drive way
