Enjoy this beautifully decorated townhome in upscale Markham, two minutes from a train into the heart of downtown Toronto. This sunlit, spacious property is perfect for small famillies or young couples who want to visit the Toronto area but prefer a more picturesque (and affordable) home away from home. You will have two full bedrooms (Queen, Double), a full kitchen, free wifi, one and a half very clean bathrooms, and a beautiful living space in which to read, relax, or plan your next day. The home also features a beautiful balcony overlooking a public park, perfect for lazy breakfasts and candle lit dinners!
I often spend weekends curled up on the couch with a latte and a New Yorker (which are in the home, available to you). The living room features a wonderful east facing double door, which streams light in all through the morning, and an L shaped couch large enough for a small family to snuggle on. Universal dock for charging phones and/or musical accompaniment. :)

Aside from the many local parks and hiking trails, Markham is also host to two farmers markets and several wonderful community festivals (Festival of Lights, Unionville Village Festival, and the century old Markham Fair, to name a few) which draw thousands of visitors each year. We have an excellent public transit system (VIVA), which is located just around the corner from my home, and will take you all over the region. The GO train (ten minute walk) will take you right into the heart of downtown, for $6.25. If you are looking to have a quiet day in town, you can also enjoy excellent restaurants after a busy day in the city, walk and shop along beautiful Main Street, visit the internationally renowned Fred Varley Art Gallery on a rainy afternoon, or walk the beautiful Too Good Pond trails at sunset.
