Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our house is an unusual conversion of a Victorian school built in 1860. It is large semi detached home with a long, enclosed garden off a quiet road. In the garden we have a small tree house, basketball hoop, herbs for cooking, fresh eggs from our 5 bantam chickens and plenty of room for a game of footie.
The house spreads over 3 floors - with 2 bathrooms, and an extra toilet.
There are 3 bedrooms in the attic -two with a double bed.
The middle floor has 3 more bedrooms - 1 with a double bed and another two with single beds.There is also a TV/ table football room.
On the ground floor we have a play room with lots of games, table tennis table and musical instruments including a piano. The formal dining room is also known as the stove (multifuel) room .
We tend to eat in the kitchen where we have a table that can fit 8 comfortably. The kitchen has everything you need.
Lastly in the garage we have a few bikes for teenagers and adults.

Helensburgh is only 1/2 hour away from Glasgow airport. The town straddles the Highland Boundary Fault line separating the lowlands from the highlands. If you walk up the hill at the back of Helensburgh you can see across to Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. There is a direct train which takes you from Helensburgh to Glasgow and also to Edinburgh and a sleeper train that will take you overnight direct to London or you can head north up to Fort William and beyond.
If you enjoy the countryside, walks, cycles, canoeing, exploring cities, visiting castles, houses of interest, playing golf, then these are all from our front door or within easy reach for a day visit. Within the town we have a swimming pool, library, independent shops, cafes and restaurants, play parks, 'Hill House' a National Trust property designed by the internationally known architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and a 'cinema' recently started in an old church.
If you are keen on shopping then Glasgow has the most diverse shopping experience after London, plus museums, galleries and the theatre. Or you can climb the largest mountain in the UK - Ben Nevis which is only 21/4 hours away.
