Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Welcome to our bright, quiet apartment on the eighth floor (accessible by elevator). What we love most about the apartment is its location: It's just a stone's throw away from the beach, amazing restaurants, and trendy shops, with excellent connections to Barcelona. Its small terrace offers panoramic views of the sea to the left and the city and the mountains to the right.
The 85-square-meter (915-square-foot) apartment comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. It features three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed (1,60x2m), a smaller room with a bunk bed, and another room with a single bed that can be made into a double bed. The apartment also includes one bathroom with a shower. The living/dining area and the kitchen offer ample space by Barcelona standards.
Despite its tranquillity, the apartment is ideally located close to the commercial and touristic centre of Mataró. The beautiful beach is just a 3-minute stroll away, and within 7 minutes, you’ll find yourself in the heart of Mataró’s centre, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques.
If you arrive in Barcelona by plane, you can take the train with one transfer and then it's just a 2-minute walk from the station to the apartment. Despite its proximity to the station, the apartment doesn't have ugly railroad views and remains peaceful without noise from passing trains.
For those who wish to explore Barcelona, there are trains every 10 minutes. A quick 35-minute ride will take you to the city center, making it easy and stress-free.
It is a perfect apartment for a vacation that has everything:
- Beach/sea lovers: 3-minute walk. The beaches of Mataró are renowned for their quality and services. There are several beach restaurants that we can recommend. You'll find boat rental services and equipment in the harbour for those who like sailing.
- Tranquillity lovers: The beach promenade and the port pier allow long and pleasant walks, feeling the sea breeze on foot or by bicycle. The numerous cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlours in Mataró are excellent!
- Lovers of culture: the flat is next to the Bassat Contemporary Art Museum, and of course, you have the huge offer of Barcelona. At the Mataró station, you can also take the train to Girona (with a change in Massanet), which also deserves a visit of at least one or two days.
- Shopping lovers: Mataró has an excellent commercial offer, and the train to Barcelona leaves you in the city center without walking.
- Nature lovers: Mataró is next to the Natural Park of Montnegre i el Corredor.
- Families: besides the beach, near Mataró, there are several fantastic water parks for the whole family. There is a small playground around the corner.
- Golf lovers: Only 5 km from Mataró, you have Llavaneras and Sant Vicenç de Montalt golf clubs.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Our neighborhood is quiet and it has everything you may need. It is close to the sea, next to the train station (without the noise) and next to the city center. We have several supermarkets and a pharmacy on the same street. There is a small playground around the corner.

Mataro has a privileged location, near Barcelona (30 Km), the Costa Brava (45 km), and Girona (73 Km). There are train connections to all three places from the nearby station. We are just 8,5 km from a golf club, and 46 km from Montseny Natural Parc. There are also two excellent water parks within easy reach by public transportation: Illa Fantasia (http://www.illafantasia.com/) and Marineland (http://www.marineland.es/cataluna/en/)
Mataro is the commercial capital of the region, with a wide range of fine shops and restaurants. Its significant marina and beach are some of the main attractions found in this gorgeous coastal town. A wide promenade runs parallel to the beach, with excellent services available to enjoy bathing and water sports during the summer. Two of the four beach areas (including the one nearest to our home) in Mataró have received the Q certification (Touristic Quality), awarded by the Institute for Spanish Touristic Quality.
The city has a rich history that dates back to Roman times. Mataró also has historical buildings and interesting monuments. We emphasize especially the legacy of modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, born in the city.
