Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Between 19th July and 4rd August 2025 we can only accept longer stays (minimum 6 days.
We will be happy to having you here!! :-). Experienced exchangers, now for 48 years (since I was a baby :-)) - already did this type of vacation with my parents.
Minimum stay is 2 nights.
Our home is placed out of the city of Bonn (in Holzlar/Hoholz)
It is a perfect combination of being quiet and secluded but still close to the urban and touristic hot-spots of Bonn and Cologne. Nature Park "Siebengebirge" is very closed and starts almost in front of the house door. Not far to the romantic Rhine river.
The apartment (65 qm) is divided into a huge living place with a modern and equipped kitchen, one bedroom and one bathroom. Built in 2014 and freshly renovated in winter 2023.
Please notice: We try to be minimalistic. Everything is easy and cosy, minimalist (no microwave, no TV, no dryer, no fabric softener). 2 coffee machines: one classic (for filter size 4) and one Nespresso.
The bedroom provides a huge and wide bed 1,80 x 200 cm.
If you bring more guests they may sleep on the comfortable pull-sofa in the bed room (160 x 200 cm (ideal for families with children - as all sleep in one room) - we have no TV.
Also 2 people can sleep in the living room: 2 mattress will be placed on the floor. Please notice: It might be too small for more than 4 people - but we already had many people in here and 6 fit perfectly in :-). Sitting around the table with 6 might be too tiny; but you will make it :-)
We recommend to travel by car. Public transport is also possible.
We are almost accessible, already had guests with wheelchairs.
We kindly ask our guests to take off their shoes in the apartment. We live/love the Scandinavian lifestyle; at home only barefoot (we have underfloor heating, so the floor is always warm). In addition, we are all non-smokers. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment for allergy reasons. But you are welcome to sit on the terrace.
Exchange is easy with us. We are uncomplicated and very flexible in terms of time. You can check in and check out independently. Our apartment will be thoroughly cleaned before and after all guest stays. Depending on our exchange agreement, we may charge a 50,-€ cleaning fee.
We live next door. The apartment which is often used by ourselves but also rented otherwise, is little clairaudient. You could hear our footsteps and noises but there was not even on e guest who felt disturbed yet (just want to let you know) ;-).

Our neighborhood is green and peaceful. It is a perfect combination of a village but still close to the urban and touristic hot-spots of Bonn and Cologne. By foot you can walk within three minutes to the bakery, butcher and convenience shop. The quartier is called: Bonn-Hoholz.
In our street you may find a public charging station for your electric car.
