Our home is a beautiful two story house with a covered deck off the dining area. The deck is set up as an extension of the house. It is simple yet modern and very comfortable. It is quite private with screens, trees and shrubs and neighbours who seldom use their yards. We are in a great location. Duncan is considered mid island so you are centrally located to many towns. We are about 8 minutes from town, beaches, trails, the Community Centre and local theatre. The Chemainus Theatre with live performances is about 15 minutes from our door. We love to bbq and enjoy the patio, pool and hot tub. The scrabble board is always set up and ready to go with the crib board just under the table. Our home is suitable for young and older adults who want a place to relax but also want a variety of activities and adventures within a short distance.

Our house is situated close to several popular beaches, rivers and lakes. All are clean and great for swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking. You can use your own or rent. We are also close to the mountains with fabulous, trails for hiking, biking and walking. The terrain ranges from flat for people who want to stroll to in big inclines for those who want a good challenge and a amazing view of the Cowichan Valley and surrounding areas.
Some of the areas in the Cowichan Valley worth exploring include; Cowichan Bay, Genoa Bay, Maple Bay, Shawnigan, Mill Bay and Lake Cowichan.
Heading south for about 55 minutes, on the Island highway is Victoria, the capital of BC. There are many shopping areas, museums and the world famous Butchart Gardens.
There are several ferries 10-40 minutes from our home. So you could take a day or overnight trips to any of the Gulf Islands or Mainland. The ferry to Saltspring Island is just 10 minutes away. The avid cyclist could ride on and tour the Island by bike but you could also take your car.
