Casa Buena Vida is very close to Centro in the trendy, vibrant and highly desirable North San Antonio area! Just 2 minutes to edge of downtown (Centro) and an easy 10-13 minute mostly flat walk to the main square (El Jardin Principal). Casa Buena Vida is equally convenient to the Instituto and the excitement of that area.
The house is a spacious 2,100 square feet with 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin beds). There are 3 bathrooms, including one ensuite with master bedroom. Hairdryer provided. Tasteful decor, including original art, adorns the walls and shelves. Modern whole house water purification system.
There are multiple living areas (both indoors and out), with comfortable seating to curl up with a book or iPad. There are three flat screen TVs, two with Apple TV, the other a “smart” TV.
The center of the home features a plant-filled atrium with soothing fountain, also bringing in abundant light. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances.
The upper rooftop terrace offers spectacular views of the Parrochia, while the lower rooftop terrace has a mountain view and lovely dining area with umbrella. Additionally, there is a spacious ground floor garden patio adjacent to the kitchen with dining table and living area complete with built-in couches.
Our delightful and conscientious housekeeper comes two times per week to clean and tidy the house and tend to the many plants. A local, bilingual house manager is available to introduce you to the house, answer your questions, and address any concerns you may have during your stay. No smoking on premises and no pets.
As this is our secondary home, rentals will generally take priority over guest point exchanges during peak rental periods.
Our home is not suitable for young children.

Many consider the neighborhood of San Antonio to be the ideal location in San Miguel de Allende -- just slightly removed from the sensory overload of Centro, but close enough for a quick walk there anytime you want. The neighborhood has a village ambiance and is filled with family owned shops or “tiendas.” All of your basic needs (beer, milk, tortillas, etc) are just steps away. And the more extensive San Juan de Dios Market, favored by locals, is just a few blocks further. And some of the finest restaurants and bakeries of San Miguel are located in the San Antonio neighborhood or nearby.

You will be met at the house by our house manager to receive keys and orientation. Please plan to arrive at Casa Buena Vida between 3 and 9 pm. If arriving after 9 pm, there is an after hours arrival fee of $25 USD (or 500 MXN) payable directly to house manager upon arrival.
Cleaning fee: For Guest Point stays, there is a cleaning fee is $50 USD (or 1000 MXN). For reciprocal exchanges, the cleaning fee is waived if we are not being charged a cleaning fee.
The ideal exchange is a non-simultaneous reciprocal secondary home exchange of at least a week up to two weeks.
Cleaning fee: For Guest Point stays, there is a cleaning fee is $50 USD (or 1000 MXN). For reciprocal exchanges, the cleaning fee is waived if we are not being charged a cleaning fee.
