Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our home is situated just outside the city center of Oslo by the edge of the forest. Here we enjoy a quiet neighbourhood and beautiful hiking trails in the forest. However we can easily visit the city center by using the metro line or car (approx. 15 minutes). Our street has no through traffic, what makes it safe for children to play outside in our garden.
The flat has two floors. On the first floor we have the entrance, bathroom with shower, kitchen, a large living room (with TV, Apple TV and X-box), the master bedroom, a play room/bedroom and exit to the balcony.
On the second floor, which is a loft, we have 2 and a half bedrooms with 2 normal size beds and one smaller bed for a child. Here the children will find some nice toys to play with. The height to the ceiling is around 180 cm, but works out well as bedrooms for children.

We live close to everything in Oslo, and at the same time our street has the quiet atmosphere of a small place - undisturbed by the hectic life and traffic of down down. We love it here!
We live at the edge of a really large forest. In the forest there are numbers of hiking trails and you can swim in a lake only 10 minutes walk from the house. Sometimes we bring the dinner with us to the small beach there. We have 5 bicycles you can borrow.
In Oslo there are many attractions to visit. The most famous attraction is the Vigeland park which is the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist. Holmenkollen ski jumping hill is also worth visiting with its spectacular view from the top.
There are many nice restaurants and kafés in the center and if the weather is warm you can visit one of the beaches by the sea or take a boat trip to one of the islands just outside the city center. A 20 minutes drive from our home you can visit Norway’s largest amusement park, Tusenfryd.
Public communication is close by, 12 minutes walk to the metro line connecting the city of Oslo. Approximately 35 minutes drive by car to Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The airport express bus stops regularly 12 minutes walk from the house.
There is a small supermarket just 3 minutes walk from the house and a small shopping mall with a larger supermarket 10 minutes away.
A 5 minutes walk there is a sports area with football courts, both artificial ground and normal gras and a running track. At the same place you will also find a ping-pong table.
There is also a skate park 10 minutes walk away.
We also have a small cottage in the mountains in Vigdalen, Sogn in the west of Norway, 6 hours drive from Oslo.
