Our home is a "radhus" with eight connected homes built 1932, well known internationally and protected by the national heritage legislation. Small (90 Square meters with additional sapce in the basement) but very functional. There are four bedrooms, combined dining room and living room, two bathrooms a small garden with deck, apple tree, rasberry bushes and lawn.
It is situated in the Stockholm suburban area called Bromma. Bromma goes way back to the viking era and just down the street there are traces of viking graves. Bromma is a villa area establish between 1900 and the 1940s, most often call the "garden city". Definitely one of Stockholms most attractive suburbs. It is unique, very close to downtown Stockholm, a ten minute ride with the tram to the subway and an additional 10 minutes and you are in Stockholm’s Old Town, with the Royal Palace, museums, shopping, ferry boats to the Stockholm archipelago and all the sights you might want to see.
The house holds high standards and offers a relaxing environment, but still with all the options and attractions a city offers Close at hand. We are a family of five, a dog and a cat and we really wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
It is also very close to lake Mälaren with beaches just a few minutes’ walk away, outdoor gym, running track, a marina with a pleasant restaurant but also to the small square with food store, bakery, Stockholm’s best ice cream parlour, fish store, flower shop, candy store, pizza and soon to open sushi take away. It is a joy just being able to buy fresh bread in the morning or buy ice cream a warm afternoon.
For trips beyond Stockholm you can grab a ferry to the archipelago or why not take one of the many cruising vessels to Helsinki that run from the center of town across the Baltic sea?

Our home is situated in Stockholms most attractice suburban area. It is very close to Downtown Stockholm and just by the lake Mälaren which connects to the Baltic sea. In the area you have grocery stores, a few restaurants and beautiful surroundings. You can hardly live in a better area in Sweden if you like the calmness of the suburb and at the same time want to live close to everything a large city has to offer. It is a calm and relaxing area, great for bring up kids.

The small garden is great with afternoon and evening sun. Perfect for a BBQ, a cold drink in the evening or just for sunbathing. If you have small children it is fenced in.
It is just a two minute walk to a small beach and ten minutes walk to a large community run beach with coffee, ice cream and food, outdoor gym and a running track a few kilometers long.
Very close to grocery store, and other shops just up the street. Super close to downtown Stockholm.
