Welcome to our Southern CA home in the foothills near Los Angeles and the Angeles National Forest, close to Hollywood and Universal Studios. We have everything you need for a cozy, family-friendly base of operations in Los Angeles. Close to many hiking trails, Descanso Gardens, and a quick 2.5 mile drive to historic downtown Montrose, the "Mayberry" of LA, with fun shops, great restaurants, and beautiful, tree-lined streets. We live in a beautiful, tranquil home that sleeps 8-10 (4 bedrooms + den w/queen) with a gorgeous, newly renovated "social" backyard that has a grill, dining table with built-in firepit (perfect for s'mores!), gazebo, night lighting, mountain views and a gorgeous big hot tub nestled in under the trees and stars - a great oasis every evening after a day of sightseeing! Enjoy a 20-30 minute drive to the restaurants, shops and concert halls of downtown LA, as well as the LA Zoo, Griffith Park and the "star walk" of Hollywood. Our home is on a hill with stunning mountain and sunset views, with a gourmet, well-stocked kitchen and built-in 9-foot island that seats 5; , an adjacent formal dining area seating 8; and a big family "party room" complete with keyboard, pool table, treadmill, big-screen smart TV (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max), karaoke mikes and plenty of comfy couch space. For evening strolls to the park, nothing could be safer, quieter or more pleasant! We are only 3 houses down from a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood park with a tennis court, ball park and playground---great for down-time picnics and dog-walks in between Southern California sight-seeing! Child-friendly home, with 4 bedrooms and 1 convertible bedroom/study. Having the sun come up in the morning, with the upstairs master bed/bath view and the windows open, along with a hot cup of coffee or tea from our upstairs "coffee bar" is heaven! A glass of wine at sunset looking out at the mountains from our yard is so relaxing, and 2 min walk to the park to see the sunset over the city of Los Angeles is also quite a treat! 1 car-use as a potential option. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are fortunate to live in a beautiful, tranquil home about 20-30 minutes from downtown LA, the LA Zoo, Griffith Park, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain and Hollywood. Our home is also a quick 8-minute drive from historic downtown Montrose, the "Mayberry" of LA, and three doors down (a quick walk) from a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood park with tennis court, ball park and playground---great for picnics and dog-walks! Love to hike? A quick 2-minute drive/20 minute walk uphill finds you one of LA's few public wilderness parks with miles and miles of scenic-view hiking trails and picnic areas (Deukmajian Wilderness Park). We look forward to having your family enjoy our home as you explore Southen CA!

Great for couples or families! Our home has a spectacular mountain views which you can enjoy in the backyard while relaxing in an 8-person hot tub under the trees! Very safe, quiet neighborhood with quaint cute Montrose shops nearby and VERY easy Southern CA access!
