Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Cozy, very bright and sunny, South facing, yet comfortable, with roofed terrace and bedrooms on opposite side of house. Spacious and relatively private. My place is Scandinavian style function over flourishes, with 2 bedrooms, a living room with a piano and a fireplace. There is a private electrical sauna and private back yard to chill out between bouts of sauna bathing (recommended!). The kitchen packs a compact punch of square meter space with comfortable open-concept design. There are large windows with clean and unobstructed flooring. The air quality is good with fans to remove excess moisture and ventilation windows and you can fully make use of the instruments, the fireplace, my bikes or other equipment, as long as you take appropriate care of it, of course.
Location is near natural surroundings in a quiet neighborhood (unless a major music event is underway, then you might notice), you can reach both a major shopping centre by 5 minute ride, and the city centre by 10min or so. Everything is walkable on separate pedestrian/bike routes and many ride bikes through the winter as well. I have a kick sled for those who have no idea what that is! You can enjoy a wood-burning fireplace also in the cold season to curl and cozy up.
Hope to leave you feeling comfortable and rejuvenated at my home!

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Peace, nature and close to sport/music events! An old manor and the vicinity called Piiri are a gorgeous and revived area to stroll, enjoy a cup of coffee and raw cake, a boutique shop and to explore the history or current life transforming the area and its dynamics.
There are bike and pedestrian paths in every direction plus free and lit crosscountry ski paths and downhill ski/mountain biking winter/summer 500 meters away. There are ample wild edibles also within few hundred meters in the summer/fall (bilberries=blueberries to name the most familiar (july-aug) of the 3 main kinds (lingonberries ripen last and are ample until Sept/October and they keep incredibly well refridgerated for months due to their natural preservative. Also there are mushrooms of course to the common people a few easy varieties to not mistake as anything poisonous and the connoisseurs the amplitude through out spring-fall). There is true tranquility if you venture a few kilometres away on the trails. You can go swimming, boating (there are rentals) by the lake. In the winter the near by free tennis courts turn into a huge and well maintained skating rink! So if you enjoy the outdoors, this place is a wonderful environment to recharge, to work and enjoy simple life.
There is a scenic river running through the area between the center and my area Kultavuori/Jouppi, a variety of different types of theatre (from outdoor summer theatre to dinner theatre and major city theatre, all sorts of live music concerts and world famous tango festival in July as well as the oldest music festival in Finland called Provinssi and, the
modern Lutheran church, Alvar Aalto designed beautiful and cozy library is another hub of life, plus a small additional library branch overlooking the lake in the hospital complex. Come explore.
If you get sick of tranquility and nature, there is easy access from the train station to both North (Oulu, Rovaniemi and the whole of Lapland !), nearest bigger city Vaasa by the Bothnian Sea 50 min away, or Southbound Tampere, the main inland city with a beautiful natural appeal with ice age ridges and riches of cultural history reaching back to industrial age and hydropowered plants making its distinct mark on the life and history. It is also a major university town with diversity and with arts scene nearly enough to rival the capital Helsinki which is 2,5-3 hrs train ride away from Seinäjoki.

Le mot de la fin
There are several playgrounds near by, children and families live in the area. It is very easy to bike here even in the winter as the roads are very well maintained.
There is a major hospital only 10 minutes away by car or bike (involves biking up a hill, though.)
Having a car is handy but certainly not necessary. I do not own one.
The center of the town and railway station is only a 10 to 15-min bike ride away.
From Vaasa (majorly bilingual city you shall notice) you may now access Umeå (Umea in English) in Sweden with a newly established cruise ship line. It allows you to travel by car to Sweden if you wish in about 4 hours on the sea.
