Home with a wonderful view and lots of space both inside and out.
A great place to relax but also have easy access to the city and all that this has to offer.
Our home is large and comfortable. There are 3 rooms as bedrooms ( 2 with king beds) and our study is a large room which has a double fold away bed. We also have 2 lounges a large kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Outside we have a tiered patio and a summer house and a reasonably large garden.
A great place to relax but also have easy access to the city and all that this has to offer.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
If you wanted to visit central England our home is a great base. It’s on the edge of the city in a village of around 1900 people. We are in an elevated position and have fabulous views of the city across the countryside. It takes around 15 minutes to drive into the city or there is a good bus link. In Nottingham there is always plenty going on. We have numerous theatres and a large concert hall. At the Arena there are often acts on.
In the village we have 1 pub. a post office, shop and a hairdressers and there is a delightful little country pub that is about 20 minutes walk through the fields.
In the Vale of Belvoir there are loads of pretty walks and we are are only about an hour away from the gorgeous Peak District. Sherwood Forest, famous by its association with the legend of Robin Hood is also nearby.
With a car you can get to numerous stately homes such as Calke Abbey (38 mins), Belton House (38 minutes drive), Bolsover Castle (44 mins) and the amazing Chatsworth House (1 hr) and Hadden Hall (just over 1hr).
Nearby there is the National Water Sports Centre (8 minutes) and if you love to watch football, ice hockey or cricket we have great amenities. Iconic sporting venues around 15 minutes on bus -Trent Cricket Ground, Forest and County Football stadiums. Holme Pierrepoint National Watersports Centre with all it's events and activities is just a short drive up the road. The Motorpoint arena in the city is home to the Panther Ice Hockey Club.
Excellent bus and road links to Nottingham City and West Bridgford where there are lots of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

We have 4 free range chickens which are easy to care for if you would like. If not a neighbour can pop over daily to check on them. They have an automatic pop hole that closes at night and opens in the morning so they are pretty self sufficient.
We have a dog that gets on well with the chickens and are happy for you to bring your dog to stay with you if you feel that your dog will be the same. The chickens are enclosed in a fox proof run.
For younger children, we have a tiered patio with numerous steps which could be a hazard. We have a gate at the top and bottom and can send you further pics if you want to have a closer look to check suitability.
