Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement

This our beach home, it was built in the 1960s and has been fully renovated, it has a relaxed, beach appeal. The house is three levels with the main bedroom/ensuite on the third level. There is a large deck with sweeping views of the ocean. The main level has three bedrooms, main bathroom and an open plan area with kitchen, dining and two lounge areas. Downstairs off the garage is a fully self contained studio and there are a set of bunks in the garage. Outside is a fully fenced, paved and has ground cover. We love escaping the city and coming here just as often as we can.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

Waihi Beach is located in the Western Bay of Plenty, at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is a small beach community which is very popular with local holidaymakers. The beach house is located walking distance (2 mins) to the local shops which include a supermarket, cafes and clothing shops along a small main street. The beach is 8 mins walk away, and is stunning. The white sand beach is safe for swimming and good for surfing. There are some great coastal walks nearby to other stunning beaches.

Waihi Beach is located in between Auckland (about 2 hours drive) and Tauranga/Mount Maunganui (about 40 mins drive). The nearby Karangahake Gorge is an old mining area with lots of scenic walks. Rotorua (with its beautiful lakes, mountain biking and geothermal areas is about 1 hr 45 mins away. Hobbiton (one of the Lord of the Rings film sites) is perhaps 1 hr 30 mins away. So if you are looking for a relaxed beach base, but within easy striking distance of great day trips, this could be what you're looking for.
