Lovely spacious apartment in a beautiful neighborhood with authentic florentine bakeries, cheese, wine and gelato shops, caffès, restaurants and bars, just 25 min. walking distance (8 min. bus) from the center. Its location offers the best of both worlds, the proximity to the touristic areas and the possibility to experience life as a local and to discover all those traditional hidden spots that just the very locals get to know. The whole flat has been recently renovated and refurnished hoping to transmit a warm, cozy, homecoming atmosphere to all of its visitors. The beautiful historic home apartment is spacious with 3 charming bedrooms, sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and guests can enjoy the beautiful private garden with lemon trees, jasmine vines, old brick and stone walls, blooming flowers, and a gorgeous olive tree. You can delight in eating al fresco meals in an intimate atmosphere with your loved ones which will make you feel far away from the noisy confusion of the crowds. The flat is professionally cleaned, we provide linen and towels.
Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Campo di Marte is a very cool vibrant area with lots of shops, restaurants and places to go out. It is located between the center of Florence and the green hills of Fiesole. Even though the area is full of life, it is actually very safe and peaceful. It is great for walking at all hours to take a beautiful “passeggiata”. The flat has an excellent location to live the florentine life with many local spots, and it is a 25 min walk to the center of Florence, or you also have the bus stop directly in front of the apartment that takes you to the center in 8 minutes. At the bus stop you also have the bus that goes to Fiesole (a beautiful town with panoramic views of Florence, and you have many other buses that take you to many different parts of the city. The second largest train station in Florence is only 8 min away, so you don’t hear the noise of the trains but it’s very close by to travel anywhere you want. For example if you’re next stop is Rome this could be a great bonus for you! The soccer stadium is 5 min away walking distance, and one of the largest concert auditoriums, Mandela Forum, with many events all year long. For example in the summer there is a “cinema all’ aperto” (Cinema Under the Stars) showing many beautiful classics. The “Mercato” in Piazza delle Cure is only 8 min away if you want fresh and local Italian farmer products. There are many supermarkets, pizzerias, and the Best GELATO in Florence (GELATERIA BADIANI!) Many other local neighborhood and city suggestions at the apartment guestbook.
