Our apartment is a modern duplex with beautiful views in 3 directions over Stockholm (we are the only residents on both floors).It is very light and extremely quiet, with an open area for the kitchen, living room and dining area (as well as toy corner) on the upper floor, and 2 double bedrooms, a child room and an office space on the lower floor. It has 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with shower). There is a large elevator to come to the apartment. The decoration is simple and child friendly.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking. There are no pets and a few plants to water occasionally.
Please note that we favour long exchanges (1 week minimum and ideally 2 or 3)

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Our apartment is conveniently located 15mns away from the City Hall, the old city and royal palace, 12 mns from the Central Station, 20mminutes from the beach and the boats running along the lake or to the archipelago. The building is located between 2 parks (with playgrounds) and along a river canal which makes for a lovely walk or bike ride (bike lane right down the building). Kayak and SUP rentals are 5 mns away (and ice skating on the canal during winter), the bicycle lane is outside the door and the bus stops and subway station a few minutes away. Grocery stores, restaurants, theater, concert hall, markets, a shopping center and much more are all a few minutes away. Stockholm offers a lot of activities for all ages (it is easy for children to love going to museums here!): just ask us!

We have done several exchanges now and really enjoy the principle and spirit in which it is done. We take care of other's homes as if it were our own and are thankful for the lovely people that this system has allowed us to meet. Our guests will enjoy the guest information book made for our friends and family visitors over the last few years. If you are unsure about discovering nordic countries, just ask us and we will help you find the sights and activities you'll like. Stockholm is a great base to discover the rest of Scandinavia by car, train or ferry (weekend trips to Finland, Norway, Denmark, baltic countries...), explore the great north (ice hotel, snowscooter, dogsleigh, northern lights among other fantastic activities) and the nature around Stockholm, especially the archipelago. Welcome to our home!
