Large family home that can host up to 7 people, located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Brussels. Feels like a residential home on the countryside, in a cul-de-sac with only 4 homes. The house is in the vicinity of public transportation (bus stops & train station), and interesting cities and attractions (see below).
Our house has been completely reconstructed in 2018, so all modern amenities are present, including floor heating / cooling throughout the house, kitchen supplies, front & back terrace, garden, alarm system, ... It includes an open kitchen with dining space and living room with gas fire, separate kids TV-room, desk area, master bedroom with separate bathroom & dressing, 4 children's rooms, an extra bathroom and a washing room.
We are a family of 7, with 5 children: Victor (15), Margo (13), Henri (11), Cecilia (6) and Charlotte (2). We, Roeline (43) and Frédéric (44) are both entrepreneurs (independent consultants & business owners). Our family loves nature, adventure & culture. We have lived abroad in New York (a long time ago) and are always interested in exploring other countries.

Sint-Martens-Bodegem is a small, quiet village in the suburbs of Brussels. It's a green harbour in the vicinity of the capital of Europe, and a lot of interesting other cities and attractions. It even has a(n affordable!) 1-star Michelin restaurant within walking distance from our home, and other restaurants that are close by.
Multiple swimming pools in the neighborhood. Shops, bakeries & supermarkets are located in the next villages (less than 5km away).

We have bicycles in all sizes available for you to use, for both leisure & sporting activities (mountainbikes & race bikes). If desired, a car for 5 or potentially 7 people (if we are travelling by plane) can be included in an exchange.
Our kids are all outdoor camping fanatics. Their most important holiday of the year is a 10-day camping trip with the boy scouts, in large tents & with only very basic amenities.
We have all the gear needed to put up additional beds or air matresses in the kids rooms that do not have a full size bed.
TVs include a Netflix subscription for those evenings you don't want to go out or are not enjoying a great restaurant, or the weather is too bad (it happens in Belgium!) to sit outside. And yes, a PlayStation 4 is at your disposal for those teenagers who cannot miss their Fortnite action for more than a couple of hours ...
We have a cleaning lady that comes by on Monday & Thursday. She can continue to clean during your stay, if you want.
