Hi. We are a retired couple originally from Australia that has been living off and on in the Northern Thai city of Chiang Mai.
We own a 3 bedroom 160sqm top floor apartment/condominium very close to the "Old City" of Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is Thailand second largest city and is a short 1 hour flight from Bangkok and is well known for its adventure tourism (Elephant sanctuaries, Tiger park, rafting, hiking, etc).
Our condo is divided into 2 sections. The "Home Exchange" section is a Thai Style large 1 bedroom corner unit with majestic views over a lot of Chiang Mai. Private bedroom with 2 King Single beds, a large western kitchen, dining room and large lounge room with a flat-screen TV, DVD, etc and a spacious bathroom.
Our Primary Residence is the other section with 2 other bedrooms which can be exchanged. Please contact to discuss.
The "Home Exchange" 1 bedroom condo is available most times during the year. We are interested in exchange (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Canada, etc or for points (from any country).

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Our condo is very well located within 5 mins walk to major shopping mall, 7 mins walk to the tourist/eating precinct of Nimmanhaeman and lots of local shops, massage/spas, markets, coffee and restaurants. Getting around the city is cheap and easy with Grab (Thailand's Uber), Tuk Tuks, local "red taxis" and buses.
Our friend and tour lady Khun Phorn is highly recommended if you would like to do day and multiday tours within and outside of Chiang Mai.
Food is our passion and we can recommend many Thai and Northern Thai places to eat that are authentic, safe and at the price right.
Food & produce markets is another "Must" if you love food and there are many around town. The two Art, Craft and Locally made products markets that we recommend are the Saturday and Sunday "Walking Street" markets.
Another "foodies" must is taking a Thai Cooking class, either 1/2, full or multi-day classes are available.
Chiang Mai is known as the "City of Wats" - a Wat is a Buddhist temple and there are hundreds
