Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement

Our home is our retreat from the world. We live surrounded by wildlife and plant life. The living area of the house is open to the elements but protected by a large overhanging roof. So we have our coffee in the morning watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and the other birds, from tiny tanagers to noisy toucans. Occasionally a troop of monkeys glides through, or the giant red faced iguana surveys us from his perch high in the trees. Of course, the ocean is the backdrop for all this as we have a fabulous ocean view.
My favorite part of the house is our 22 meter lap pool with a shelf for lounging or babies to be safe. After any busy day in the tropics, there is nothing like a workout or an hour relaxing in the refreshing water.
The bedrooms and the living room are enclosed, air conditioned and secure. So you can enjoy them if you want to escape the elements.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

We are located on a mountainside a short distance from the southern coastal highway. Four wheel drive is necessary, but we live only a ten minute drive from Dominical, the closest town. There are no long rugged drives to get to the beach, the stores or the restaurants.
We have a gated community above us, but we are out of sight of most of the homes.
Dominical is a surfing destination. In addition, we have adventure tourism in the immediate area. You can go zip lining, whale watching, horseback riding on the beach, or kayaking through the mangroves. Quepos, a town thirty minutes north of us, is noted as a world class sport fishing area. The Marina Pez Vela offers knowledgeable captains and completely outfitted fishing boats.

Our home is located on the south Pacific coast of Costa Rica about a three hour drive from the San Jose airport. (SJO). Your travel options are as follows: rental car, shuttle, or a small plane (20 minute flight to Quepos, the town 30 minutes north of our house.)
Remember that a four wheel drive vehicle is required for access to our garage.
