Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
As you come down the long private drive, you will be reminded that you are staying in one of most coveted areas of Chester County. Pictured is the main house which we reside in. Both grand & relaxing, you will be staying in the 1500 sq. ft. private walk-out open-concept spacious studio with wine cellar bedroom, pool table, dedicated playroom & granite island. Sitting on 12.9 park-like acres every view is private with your own private pool. So tranquil yet just minutes away to Longwood Gardens and more.
The space
Twinkle lights in the trees in a park-like setting makes this space feel truly magical. Your host is an event planner & designer so everywhere you look you will find something beautiful. If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary you've found the perfect place. Just ask your host about the simple to elaborate customized services making your celebration extra special. Please note however, that we do not permit parties.
Once you come up the long private drive, you will enjoy the ease of private parking. Next, simply enter through the back gate and follow the beautifully landscaped and twinkle light path alongside the pool. As you follow along, stairs will lead you down to your completely private entrance. Your 1500 sq. ft. open-concept spacious studio accommodates 3 guests.
Please note: this fully furnished walk out lower level is a daylight basement. It is extremely private and feels like an entire home, very spacious, sparkling clean & beautifully decorated - every window has completely private wooded views.
Although we live in the main home, you will rarely see us if at all (unless you need us of course). Please know that the guest suite is entirely yours, it’s not shared. The pool is for your private use only, it is not shared. Once inside the suite, hardwoods greet you underfoot. An open floor plan welcomes you. The windows have private views so no blinds are needed (although we have them). You can choose to relax on the chaise lounge or upon two soft couches by the gas fireplace. You can play pool on the Olhausen billiard table, dine in the wine cellar or enjoy cocktails at the granite bar. For your enjoyment we also have board games galore or you can watch tv (verzion fios cable). If you bring your computer (or have work to do) please enjoy sitting at the roll top desk. Keeping you organized, the desk is the perfect place to set your keys and browse through the offerings of the local attractions, delivery menus, etc..
Do you have children? If so, we have created a dedicated playroom making the perfect indoor space for your children to play.
When the weather begs for you to soak in some of your magnificent surroundings, step outside to a world of wooded enjoyment where you'll find a screened in porch (with fire ring table, sink fountain, ceiling fan and yes, another bar), an expansive deck with integrated seating awaits you & of course, lounge chairs and a full sized private pool to cool you off whenever you choose.
As the night ends, enter the wine cellar and snuggle into your queen sized bed (with 2” mattress topper) and enjoy the softness. Have another guest, no worries we have a 2nd cozy space in the studio with a twin mattress (with mattress topper too) plus a toddler day bed.
Wake in the morning to a Keurig coffee maker (decaf and regular ready and waiting to be brewed) or make some tea we stock many flavors. Instant oatmeal and a few choices of cereal are also stocked in your kitchen (you bring the milk). A microwave, full sized refrigerator and toaster are provided. The kitchen also has everything you need to prep a meal (just add food).
*If you want certain supplies available upon your arrival please message us to discuss, perhaps we will do your shopping in advance for you.
*Important to Note:
We have a German Shepherd who is a fully trained certified service dog. You will probably never see him during your stay as we will leash walk him in the front of the property. We ask you to leash walk your dog in the back of the property.
We will consider allowing your pets, however due to allergies no cats are permitted. A $75 one time dog fee per/dog will be applied. Please discuss your dogs needs with us in advance. A happy and safe visit is first and foremost, so your pet MUST be leash walked in at all times and only in the back of the property (not out front). With 12.9 acres there is a lot of land so your pet will be very happy. Approval MUST be given before any pets are permitted on the property. In case you planned to ask, sorry, but no dogs are permitted in the pool.
