Vacation Home 1: Radium Hot Springs, BC. A top (3rd) floor apartment style Condo (1,500 ft2/135 m2) with 2 separate bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, and an upper floor loft with two double beds. All modern conveniences. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, and open sitting and dining areas. Two balconies, one off the main living area and the second off the Master bedroom. Each bedroom and the loft have their own full bathroom with shower and/or bath tub. The Condo complex has a heated outdoor swimming pool open from May to October, and two hot tubs (one outdoor, one indoor) open all year. This is our weekend get away. This unit is also rented out on VRBO - see VRBO.com listing 1167273.
Vacation Home 2: Vernon, BC. A top (3rd) floor apartment style Condo (750 ft2/67m2) with two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, plus a double pullout leather couch in the sitting area. Fully renovated with modern appliances and conveniences in 2014. This Condo has a large balcony with amazing view of Lake Okanagan (the largest fresh water lake in BC), the surrounding mountains and the city of Vernon. This is our summer vacation home.
Primary Residence: Calgary, Alberta. 6,000 sqft (570m2) modern (2013) bungalow with walk out/up basement. 2 bedrooms main level and 2 bedrooms in basement. All bedrooms have their own full bathroom with shower (two also have bathtubs), and the Master has a steam shower. Two extra partial bathrooms. Very large kitchen and eating nook open to the sitting area with gas fire place, and open to a formal dinning area and coffee/tea/wine butler pantry. Main floor laundry room with clothes washer and drier. Large deck off main floor has partial mountain views. Large patio on ground/garden level. Basement has separate sitting room with fire place, entertainment/TV room and equipped gym with tread mill and weights. The lot is 2 acres (0.8 hectares) and grassed and treed (although we are currently undergoing landscape renovations and do not have grass throughout).

Primary Residence: Calgary. We live on a quiet cul du sac in a residential acreage (i.e. all the properties are 2 acres) community. We live just a few kilometers and minutes west of the City of Calgary limits, in an area populated with residential acreages and farm land - rural living just minutes from the hart of Calgary. We are 5 to 15 minutes from all modern City amenities and only 20 minutes from downtown Calgary, 45 minutes to the Rocky Mountains with lots of golf and skiing at world class facilities.
Vacation Home 1: Radium Hot Springs. A quiet condominium complex located in a small village (population ~2000) where wildlife (deer, mountain sheep, wild turkeys) roam freely. A few minutes walk to centre town and commercial conveniences. Mountain views all around. Lots of golf courses and world class skiing within 0.5 to 1.5 hrs drive. 15 minutes drive to Lake Windemere and the larger town of Invermere. Lake Windemere used for summer recreation and winter (skating, cross country skiing, ice fishing). The Invermere Valley is an all seasons destination.
Vacation Home 2: Vernon. A quiet and small condominium community (34 owners) situated on private land on Lake Okanagan. Private community beach and large dock with swimming area and buoys for motor boats. Best community location on the Lake , with spectacular views from our Condo. 15 minutes to downtown Vernon (population ~ 40,000). The Okanagan is well known for hot, dry summers, vineyards and wines, and fruit orchards as well as a multitude of lakes within short distances. The mountains surrounding Vernon are older, more rounded and generally treed. There is great skiing in the area. The Okanagan Valley is an all seasons destination; however it tends to be more popular in summer with hot temperatures and access to water.

Radium Hot Springs est une communauté de vallée montagneuse qui est l’escapade de fin de semaine pour de nombreux Calgariens. Prenez l’avion jusqu’à Calgary, en Alberta, et conduisez 2,5 heures jusqu’à Radium.
