Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
A cozy private home situated in Mosfellsbær, in a pretty and quiet part of the capital area - away from the buzz of the downtown area but still within easy reach. It offers bright rooms, big living space, outdoor jacuzzi (stars and northern lights), fireplace and a private garden. There are many nature walking paths close by, as well as horse riding, golf and outdoor swimming and spa centers. Great for day trips around the country, as its very close to the main ring road around Iceland. Car can be included if agreed.
Our house is around 150 square meters. It has 4 bedrooms, a big living room, kitchen, washing room and 2 bathrooms (one with shower and bath). The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the 2 kids room's both have a 90x200cm bed (with one pull it can easily be made double) and teenage room has a 120x200 bed. Towels and linens are provided.
The house is our home and is therefore fully equipped with everything a family would typically need! In the summer there is barbeque in the garden, trampoline for the kids and garden table and chairs. Some outdoor kids toys and family games are also available. We are willing to lend our bikes upon request.

Family friendly- totally quiet in the afternoon and during night. Common playground for the neighborhood in viewing distance (2 min away). There are two outdoor swimming pools and spa's in Mosfellsbær and one of them is only in 7 min walking distance. The other one has access to gym and is 5 min drive away, or 15 min walking. The commercial center is only 0,5 km away and therefore within a few min walking distance. There you can find all necessary service, i.e. supermarkets (best price), bakery, petrol station, banks, post office and pharmacy. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance.
The bus station is 130 m (2 min) away and there you can take bus downtown. Also the countryside buses traveling to the west and north of Iceland stop 3 min away. To get to downtown center Reykjavik, it takes only 25 min with a bus or 15 min with a private car. Mosfellsbær is situated close to the main ring road to the west/north and south/east of Iceland, and therefore its ideal for day trips around the country- with no time wasted on traffic in the city center (and no traffic lights to get on the main ring road).

Our home is open to good and trustworthy people - and kids are especially welcome! Upon request we can make available a baby crib, stroller and chair.
We have a cleaning lady fee of 135€, if it is a guestpoint exchange. For direct exchange we can decide what suits best.
We have a small cat that needs to be fed, but it's easy - only water and ready made dry food.
As it is our own home, its not available all year round. We are available for contact by phone or by video chat, as a mean to create mutual trust. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all.
