Huge 1000 square foot lower unit of stunning Victorian. This exchange includes a pool table, large flat screen tv, 40 gallon fish tank and keg-erator. The bedroom has a queen bed along with a daybed in the entryway for additional sleeping space. Enjoy the island city of Alameda and the surrounding SF Bay Area from the comfort of our super fun flat.

COVID UPDATE: The City of Alameda has a public mask policy. Masks must be worn inside all places of business and outdoors when within 30 feet of other people. All public play structures have been closed. The street the home is on has been deemed an Alameda Slow-Street which prioritizes pedestrians and bikers, cars are discouraged from using it as a throughway. Please visit: http://www.acphd.org for local COVID guidelines.
Alameda has a great downtown area (Park Street) with tons of yummy restaurants and cool local shops. Closer still is Webster Street with terrific cafe’s and a farmers market on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Biking is a wonderful way to explore the island. It’s also one of the only cities around the Bay with its own long stretch of public access beach.
And of course you are just across the bay from San Francisco, which you can easily access with public transportation via Ferry, Bus or BART.
Alameda has a great downtown area (Park Street) with tons of yummy restaurants and cool local shops. Closer still is Webster Street with terrific cafe’s and a farmers market on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The House was built in 1890 and completely refinished in 2012.
The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and electric cooking skillet. It does NOT include a stove or dishwasher. We have a Roku you may use to login to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and other entertainment accounts.
For families traveling with children we are happy to provide a pack-n-play and high chair.
We have tenants in the unit upstairs, please do not disturb. There is NO BACKYARD access. Please don’t park in or block the driveway as that is exclusively for the upstairs tenants.
There is a potential for noise, apologies in advance, unfortunately not much can be done to insulate sound to our lower unit from our upper unit. The home is over 120 years old and will be creaky. We provide ear plugs in the bedroom, should you need them.
Street parking is free but can occasionally be difficult to find, the best place to find parking is along Littlejohn Park (1/2 block away)
We DO NOT allow SMOKING inside or around the unit. Smokers please consider alternative accommodations.
As this is also used as a vacation rental, there is an additional fee that is passed on to our cleaners so they can ready the flat for the next guest.
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay in the unit during quiet hours. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Please, no parties and no loud music.
