Our 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home sits on a 3 acre wooded lot, located within walking distance to lakes and nature trails and a short drive from local beaches, downtown core, and the Halifax international airport. Built in 2020 this custom home is a certified passive house offering the highest standard of energy efficiency. Mimicking simplistic Scandinavian style architecture paired with mid-century modern design you’ll find the space to be open and airy. High ceilings, large windows, and a cozy wood stove heated sunroom ensure even the shoulder seasons feel bright and welcoming.
The kitchen and butler pantry house all appliances and cooking resources necessary for efficient meal prep and cleanup. A 10+ person dining table, along with 4 island counter stools, ensure plenty of space for family gathering and entertaining. A stokke highchair is available for any littles traveling in your party.
Off the living room you’ll find an office with custom built desks, perfect for a remote work space.
Off the entryway is a large mud room and powder room/half bath.
The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms: Primary (king bed, ensuite bath with soaker tub and custom shower), a Secondary (queen bed), a Child’s Room (double bed) and a Nursery (crib). A large double sink shower bath combo, along with a laundry room, are also upstairs.
Access the sunny, sheltered, back yard through the sunroom off the kitchen, and enjoy lounging, dining, or playing games on the turf. A small glass garage door opens into the garage ‘play room’.
Our home has been designed to be low maintenance, as well as dog/kid friendly. Unfortunately no cats, please.

Our home is located 15 minutes from Stanfield International Airport, 10 minutes from major grocery/drug/shopping centres, and 25 minutes from the Halifax downtown core. You are never far from the beach in Nova Scotia, the closest from our home being only 30min away, or public golf courses (Lost Creek Golf only 20min away).
Our property is adjacent to Cheema Aquatic Club (kayak/canoe), and MacDonald Sports Park: A community park with walking trails, public lake access, baseball field, bike trails, and a beach volleyball court.
The scenic village of Waverley is nestled between 2 lakes. Our home is walking distance to the local post office, animal hospital, and gas station. A short bike ride will get you to even more walking/biking trails, drug stores, a local brewery (Off Track Brewing), distillery, and various family owned restaurants (Inn on the Lake, Fourth Lock, Turtle Back, Il Mercato, Finbar's, Good Day Cafe, etc). 8KM to local shopping malls, grocery, and box stores.
