Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
This historic summer cabin has been in my family for over 100 years. It is a unique blend of authentic vintage lovingly restored and modern upgrades like DW and laundry. It has mini-split heat and A/C, and a large gas fireplace in the living room. It is a true gem that has been preserved so well, not a modern place "dressed up" as vintage. Staying here will take you back to a time when families came up from San Francisco to enjoy the beautiful weather of Sonoma County. The irreplaceable old growth redwood walls are brightened when you open the huge French doors to the pergola and utilize the Phantom screen so you can enjoy fresh air without bugs. This house is also an Airbnb and so is completely ready for your every need. I live next-door and share the job of housekeeping with a hand picked long term quality team of housekeepers.
Our Hot Spring Spa is always hot and shocked and filters cleaned between every set of guests. We clean it for you ourselves.
I have stocked the kitchen with what I would want to find...Fiesta Ware and also simple white dishes offer you a choice of mood. For smoothie makers, you'll find a Blendtec blender. We offer an assortment Tea and K-cup coffee pods including decaf, as well as multiple sweeteners, dairy and non-dairy creamers, even to-go cups!
If you are lucky enough to come during mild weather, the screened in dining porch is a favorite!
All bedding is 100% cotton, (unless it's linen or wool, we don’t let polyester in the front door, L O L). Many vintage wool blankets are available throughout.
Please reach out to me to check and see if my place is available for your dates. It is currently also an Airbnb so I work around both calendars. It’s very possible that your dates might be available so please ask. Thank you

We are in the heart of the Sonoma Valley Wine country, specifically we are in the rural wine growing area that is 2 miles in one direction and 3 1/2 miles in the other to fine dining and wine tasting with many choices. A 20 to 40 minute (respectively) drive will take you to the fine wineries and dining of both the Sonoma and the Napa Valley fine wine and food area. Beautiful scenery abounds as is depicted in the photos.
In the summertime there is a bucolic public pool and picnic grounds 400 ft away and I supply beach towels for you to take there. Called "Morton's Warm Springs", the pools are heated by geothermic heat. Please check their website for photos and dates open, but it's usually: May and Sept weekends only and June thru Aug Tues-Sun, always 10AM to 5PM.
Our area has excellent hiking in 3 state parks close to my place with my free parking passes for those as well as hiking book and maps are in the space. To research in advance, check out Jack London State Historic Park (The Authors ranch and home museum with hikes of all lengths), Sugarloaf State Park (climb small mountains with geat views or stroll along the creek) Trione-Annedel State Park (this meadowy park is great for trail running and biking, or wildflower peeping).

• Each bedroom sleeps 2 persons in the 2 queen beds, plus the "crib" we have is a "Pack and Play". A child in the crib would make 5. If more sleeping spaces are desired, we do have a futon (width of a double/length of a queen) on the screen porch which is outside air temperature but can be made up with fine bedding including an electric blanket and down comforter for a 1 time charge of 100$ extra (or 100 extra points) because we rearrange the whole room for this set up. The air might be cold but you won’t be, with the electric blanket, etc.
•I charge a $150 cleaning fee that can be paid in cash.
•Our home is not childproofed and I don't generally allow children due to some potential hazards.
