Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
The nearest sanstone climbing is just 150m away. One of the best destinations in the Czech Republic for climbing and bouldering. The house was built in 1930s and retains the atmosphere of the period. It is 6+1, light, cosy, with large flat garden, accommodates upto 12 people in 5 bedrooms. There is one bathroom and one toilet in the house. Beautiful views from the windows overlooking the raising mountains in the front and the rocks and forest in the back.
Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Rajec in Czech means little paradise. You will love our place if you are keen on climbing, hiking, biking, running, cross country skiing. The house is especially well suited for climbing, with some of the best sandstone climbing in the Czech Republic in the close proximity; and for cross country skiing and hiking with hiking and cross country trails passing around the house. At the same time, Rajec is a quiet settlement of approx 20 houses, the road ends in the village. You can buy fresh eggs, sheep cheese and yogurt from the neighbours. There are ponds suitable for swimming in Rajec or in Ostrov, half an hour hike accross the hill. The nearest restaurants are 3km away in Tisa or in Ostrov. Natural beauty sites are all around on both the Czech and the German side of the border (Eg.: Painter's way in Saxon Switerland).

We exchange for a minimum of 5 days. We are especially keen on exchanging our house for homes in proximity to climbing areas and with such we are open to any kind of deal and both shorter periods than 5 days or multiple month periods..
The house is 100 years old and little renovated, we love it there as do most people who come, but it is not to everyone's level of comfort and cleanliness. Due to its age and mostly weekend usage, it is impossible to keep the spotless standard of modern homes and there may be some dust, occasional cobweb and smears on the windows. There is no central heating, only wood stoves in the individual rooms, so in cold weather and not heating it will be cold in the morning before setting up the fire. When occupied by many people and not economising with the water, it may temporarily run out. It is beautiful, but you have to accept it for what it is:)
