Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
I live in a newly built apartment building. It is very close to the Old Town (10min by tram). As to the flat, it is freshly decorated, located in the ground floor, with a small private garden on the side of the building. It contains one cosy bedroom. There is a fully equiped kitchen and living room, perfect for leisure. There is also laptop available and WiFi. There is a foldable couch in the living room and one king size bed in the bedroom so overall 4 places to sleep. There is one bathroom with a bathtub and a washingmashine.
Airport is just half an hour drive from our home.
We welcome you and encourage you to visit our beautiful city and country.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Our neighbourhood is quiet and safe. There are plenty little shops around, parks, churches and small restaurants.
We live 10 minutes by tram from the city center - the Old Town. That whole district was built in medieval times and has maintained its autenticity until now. In there you can find all kinds of cafes, restaurants and shops. The city has its age-old character and nice atmosphere. It is always full of cracowians and tourists from all over the world, whatever the season. So who knows, you might almost feel like home.
As you head south through the Old Town the streets begin to taper until you arrive at the foot of Wawel Hill, seat of the Royal Castle and Cathedral. Wawel lies on a small hill above the Vistula and so you can enjoy quite nice and refreshing views. Worth of mentioning is Kazimierz district, which is known also as a Jewish district, nowadays a perfect spot full of bohemian artists (but also hipsters :P). Another district with a completely different atmosphere is Nowa Huta - built during socialism era, remained its communistic spirit.
We can’t forget to mention botanic garden and of course famous Zoo. There are few mounds in Cracow to climb, the most famous and closest one is Kosciuszko’s Mound. Very good places for nice walks.
As a car exchange is also possible for us, you might be interested in some trips.
Most visitors will also take a tour to museum of Auschwitz Birkenau, which is about 1 hour drive from Cracow (direct buses also available from city center for few euros). No need to say that it holds quite sad history of people imprisoned and sentenced to death in camps by Nazis. Another “must see” place (part of Unesco World Heritage site) is the salt mine of Wieliczka, which is also about 1 hour drive from Cracow (direct buses), where you will enjoy underground lakes, cathedrals and sculptures.
As for hiking, Cracow is very close to Zakopane (2h drive, buses also aviable). It is a beautiful mountain resort, right in the heart of Tatry Mountains.
For longer trips, Cracow is also perfect as a starting point for weekend trips to Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna and Prague.
