Our home in Llangybi is a traditional Welsh Victorian foresters country cottage.
After entering the house there is a traditional lounge area on your left with a wood burner and comfy sofas and TV with all the streaming services. This is a good place to relax in the evenings.
At the end of the entrance hall there is the kitchen and dining area where it goes a good to spend preparing food and eating. There is a bespoke well equipped kitchen where you will find all the tools to make a great meal.
Out the back door there is a garden area where we mainly use to produce vegetable and store outside stuff. This opens out to a track at the rear and open countryside.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom at the back has a double bed and extensive views of the countryside.
The second bedroom has 1 double bed and one double pull out bed and this room can be divided into 2 if necessary. There is an additional 3rd bedroom with a pull out bed. Also there is a large family bathroom.
You will need to be able to feed the cats that live here. They are very friendly.
The house is a country house with 4 cats and so it will never be spotlessly clean, but we try to leave it as clean as possible for our guests. Certain guests will expect it to be very clean, but it is not that kind of place. It is very muddy outside at certain times of year. Feel free to use the wellies.

The house is in a brilliant location for lovers of the outdoors. There is the largest community woodland in Wales at the back of the house, as well as walking in the vicinity. There are many footpaths to explore.
A traditional rural welsh cottage set in a village location just 4 miles from the University town of Lampeter and the small market town of Tregaron. It is definitely off the beaten track with lots of walks from the house where you will be lucky if you see another person.
It is located in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains with a large community woodland behind the house with fantastic walks and bike rides.
The coast is about a 20 minutes drive away and there are some lovely beaches and coastal villages.
Strata Florida Abbey, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Llanerchaeron, Cors Caron nature reserve, Devils Bridge, Hafod estate and NantyrArian are all lovely spots within good driving distance.
Beaches include Aberaeron, New Quay, Llangrannog and Aberystwyth. among countless others.
The university town of Lampeter is only a 5 minute journey. It has 2 supermarkets and lots of small independent shops, a leisure centre and lovely parkland by the university.
