Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
We fell in love with the high ceilings and open first floor that has a large and well-equipped kitchen, warm living room with a mason fireplace, separate dining room, half bath, and what we call our "music room." Maybe best of all, the living room opens onto a screened-in porch and deck. Three bedrooms with one king and two queen-sized beds and a laundry room are upstairs. There are two full baths upstairs, and the primary bath is very large. Our home is new construction, and we are its first occupants.
Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We are conveniently located near all-things Durham, including Duke University and Research Triangle Park. Our home is three doors from the American Tobacco Trail, a historic trail great for biking, walking or running. To the south, the trail opens up 22 miles of paved path. To the north, a 1/2 mile on the trail takes you to the heart of downtown Durham, where you will find the performing arts center, Durham Bulls stadium, and a robust foodie scene with nearby craft breweries. The farmer's market and local food co-op are a walk or short bike-ride away. Forest Hills Park is a stone's throw from us and has tennis (and pickleball) courts, pavilions, and wide open fields where pick-up ultimate Frisbee games take place.

Our home is a great location for folks checking out the many universities in the area, including Duke, UNC, Elon, and NC State.
As for the outdoors, Durham has many hiking and biking trails, including our favorite paths through Duke Forest and walks by the Eno River and Hope Creek. We have two Trek Verve bikes available for guests to use.
Although it is not necessary, if you are willing, we have a strictly outdoor cat to feed. (But we can also arrange for someone else to do that.)
