Our home has everything you need for a lovely stay in the Netherlands with your family! A lovely home fit for even larger families, with a private south-facing garden and great commute to all large cities in the Netherlands. Located just outside Utrecht and at just 20 minutes of Amsterdam. Public transportation, shops and restaurants at just walking distance.
We offer a family-size home, right in the centre of the Netherlands. Our home is spacious and light, with all the facilities a family could need. Because of the two bedrooms with double beds, the house could also cater to one or two couples traveling together or a group of friends. The additional amount of children’s beds (two) and baby beds (two) make it big enough for even larger families.
On the ground floor you can find the open, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a table for six including two childrens chairs, and an open living room with television (including Netflix and Disney+), gameconsole, piano and fire place. The ground floor includes a seperate toilet. The master bedroom is located on the first floor and has a Californian king sized bed (a bed even us tall Dutch people can fit in!) and a small crib that can be used as a co-sleeper. The first floor also includes two smaller bedrooms (one with two childrens beds and one with a crib) and the bathroom (including a bath). On the top floor is a room for laundry with a washing machine and dryer, as well as the air conditioning unit. Behind it is another room with a wide desk, extra screen for productivity, and an additional 2-person bed (this one queen sized).
Our home is ideal for (young) families. We are a family with two young children (2 and 3) and another one on the way, so the house includes all the facilities for toddlers and babies you could possibly need. There are a great variety of toys, small bikes in various sizes and equipment for playing outside (trampoline, slide, etc).

Maarssen is an old, small village in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located in the lake district next to Utrecht (5 minutes by car), and south east of Amsterdam (20 minutes by car). The area is named after the river the Vecht, that runs through the old city center of Maarssen. The area is famous for its many historic cites, including castles and estates that can be visited for walking or sight-seeing.
The neighborhood we live in is in a quiet residential area with mostly young families and plenty of parking space. A supermarket and several small shops are less than 500 meters away. The old city center is also at walking distance (just 5 minutes away) and contains many nice shops and restaurants. Several lakes, such as the Maarsseveense Plassen, the Vinkeveense Plassen and the Loosdrechtse Plassen (all of which are recreational lakes), are just around the corner. Here you can swim, rent boats, do watersports or just enjoy the summer. A children’s farm and several large playgrounds are found at a walking distance, a pool, karting ground, escaperoomse, a large indoor playground, indoor skydive, jumping park, lasergaming and bowling are located at just a 5 to 10 minute drive away.
Maarssen is situated near all major highways, making it ideal for commuting to bigger cities such as Amsterdam, the Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or Hilversum. Utrecht takes you 20 minutes by bike and just 5 minutes by car. Public transportation is in walking distance, and the Maarssen train station, that takes you to Utrecht or Amsterdam, is just 2 km away. It takes 25 minutes to reach Amsterdam by train and 20 minutes by car. If you want to travel further, all major highways also connect to roads to Brussel, Berlin, Paris and other mayor cities in Belgium, Germany and France.

We have a private garden with a large barbecue, table for outside eating, a variaty of outside toys for children and a shed. In the are are two adult bikes with child seats that you are free to use.
