This quiet home is so close to nature, yet walking distance to a small village and 2km to major shops, movie theatres and restaurants. Less than 2km to Dudley beach, 10~15 min drive into Newcastle city.
Architecturally designed and renovated home in 2017, we have a split-level home where the kitchen, living areas and large north facing deck are up amongst the trees.
There is a large modern kitchen with induction cooking, thermomix, Rocket coffee machine and all you'll need to cook up a storm and enjoy meals through the opening window servery leading to the timber deck. The verandah overlooks the garden, Glenrock National Park bushland nearby and the backyard.
The main bedroom has a king bed upstairs, along with the family bathroom and 1 children's single bedroom. All the living areas, deck and kitchen are upstairs.
Downstairs is the 2nd bedroom (single bed) and an office, along with a second bathroom, laundry and garage.
We have a large backyard great for kids, with a trampoline, sandpit, cubby house, climbing walls, slippery slide, monkey bars, and a spider net. We have pet chickens, a worm farm, a herb and vegetable garden, along with lots of fruit trees.
We love to sit on the north facing undercover deck with sea breezes to watch & listen to a variety of native birds fly past.

Kahibah is located in Lake Macquarie Council, yet it's centrally located only 8km to the lake and 10km to Newcastle City. The lake is popular for kayaks, sailing, windsurfing etc.
Kahibah is a great place to escape for nature lovers; bushwallking, mountain bike riding, climbing, surfing or bird watching right at your doorstep. You can also walk a short stroll to get to the famous Fernleigh track, a 16km walking/cycle route which is dis-used railway linking Belmont to Adamstown tunnel. There are multiple bushwallking tracks leading off the track. You can also ride to Redhead Beach via the track.
It's also less than 5km from 2 major shopping centres with lots of restaurants, cafes and movie theatres.
Kahibah Village itself is just a 5 minute walk. There you'll find a lovely playground adjoining Sherwood's coffee shop, along with the best ever chips at Hilltop Fish and chip shop, Chinese Yum Cha restaurant, a butcher, a bakery, Mini Mart, Post office, Hair dressers, bottle shop and a beauty salon that does the best facials!

We try to live in an eco~conscious way. We have solar hot water, solar electricity, water tanks for the garden, vegetable and fruit gardens, pet chickens, composts and a worm farm. We live close to a cycle way so it's easy to cycle to beaches, farmers markets and shopping centres.
Inside, we have plenty of space, seperate living zones and kids play areas for a family of 4 with 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, AC, BBQ, fireplace etc.

We are located 30 minute drive from Newcastle airport (Willliamtown).
