Welcome to the Sky Parlor, a converted attic with original 1880's turret. Suitable for couples or solo travelers.
In the wintertime, you can see the downtown skyline from the custom breakfast nook for two.
Includes a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, coffee maker, kettle, electric hot plate, mini fridge/freezer, but no oven. We could also provide a rice cooker and/or crockpot if you'd like.
Filled with original art, and many unique lamps & chandeliers made by Cully.
Unlike the masterpieces at the museum across the street, the Sky Parlor is a work in progress. Appreciate a very 1980's bathroom? Now is a great time to visit.

We are central to everything you may want to see and do in the Twin Cities. We are located on a quiet, historical block across from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (“Mia”), MCAD, and a quick walk to Nicollet Avenue (a.k.a., “Eat Street”). Just one mile south of the Convention Center and 1.5 miles to the Chain of Lakes/Lake of the Isles. Walk score of 94; bike score 96.
There are 30+ restaurants and bars within walking distance, though we’ll leave you a list of the ones we’d recommend most. There’s paddle-boarding, excellent urban canoeing & biking, craft breweries/distilleries, live indie music houses, a top-ten orchestra, and lots of art & theater all within a few miles.
Dedicated off-street parking. Easy self check-in via coded keypads.
The private patio, grill, fire pit, and gardens are shared with the other two units. (We are usually in one of the other two, and have quiet, long-term tenants on 1st floor.) We generally all just communicate if we'd like to grill or use the outdoor dining table.

We regret that this will exclude some folks, but this home is on the third floor, and only accessible via spiral stairs, some of which are irregular in height. We are also so sorry that we cannot host service dogs or any pets, due to allergies.
The railings up to to mini loft are far enough apart that this home is not suitable for children.
