Our home in Thailand is 4 years old and located in a gated community of 20 homes with mostly expat families about 15 minutes drive from Pattaya. Our house has Italian tile floors inside and out, high ceilings, teak doors, and many windows and sliding doors to blend living indoors and outdoors. The great room has a pool table, dining room table, and modern kitchen with marble counters and a large island with hob and 4 stools. The three bedrooms all have king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms, wifi routers, and individual air conditioning controls. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, a 5m x 5m bathroom with marble counters, two sinks, walk-in rain shower, and a two-person jacuzzi. Our house surrounds a 5m x 12m swimming pool (no fence so not suitable for young children). There are gardens, flowers, fountains, and two Buddhist shrines throughout the yard.
The large atrium room has bifold doors that open on 3 sides, and it includes sofas, pool gear, barbecue, kitchen, picnic table, 55" QLED TV, exercise equipment, and a treadmill. The separate TV room has 3 sofas and a 55" QLED TV with Netflix, thousands of global channels, wifi, and ac that looks out on the pool and gardens. There is an emergency generator in case electrical power is interrupted, and a two-car attached garage with a washer, dryer, and two bicycles. We have a gardener, maid, and pool man visit 2-3 times per week so little upkeep is required.

We live 90 minutes south of downtown Bangkok and 15 minutes from downtown Pattaya that has abundant nightlife, Walking Street, beaches, malls, and entertainment venues. The area has many shopping malls, outstanding golf courses, and hundreds of Thai, Euro, Asian, and American restaurants with international menus. There is a lake (no swimming) nearby with a lighted 10km track for jogging and bicycling. There are a dozen restaurants and bars as well as 7-11s, pharmacies, and massage places located around the lake.

- Walks in the park: Lake Mabrachan, Ramayana water park
- Spot of exercise: biking, jogging, golf all nearby
- Day tripping: Koh Samet, Koh Lan, Bangkok, Ayuttaya

We are located 75 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport and 30 minutes from Utapao airport which are both connected to regional and international destinations. For example, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Ho Cho Minh can be reached by plane in an hour. Koh Samet, Koh Chang, and southern islands near Cambodia are within 3-4 hours drive.
There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance of our home so you will need a car when you stay here. We prefer exchanges of 1-3 weeks if possible, and would consider exchanges up to 4 months for a location that fits our needs.
