Our holiday home is in a great location:
- 30m from one of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca
- 100m from the municipal sports centre which has indoor & outdoor swimming pools, tennis, padel & fronton courts, a gymnasium and a spinning room
- 200m from the Reina Sofia park and fairground
- 300m from the town centre with many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars
- 300m from a large nature reserve of sand dunes and pine trees bordering the coast for walking and cycling
It's on the third floor, set back from the promenade and on a quiet street. There is no private parking but it is close to the free public parking areas along the sea front and opposite the nature reserve, less than 5 minutes walk away.

Guardamar del Segura is quite unusual compared to many parts of the Costa Blanca: no high rise blocks, an active year-round population and surrounded by nature reserves, lagoons and pine forests.
It is 30-40 minutes drive from Alicante airport, 30 minutes from Elche and Orihuela, 40 minutes from Murcia and about 50 minutes from Alicante. The town has every kind of shop including a large Mercadona supermarket and there are also large shopping centres / malls nearby.
This part of Spain has the most hours of sunshine of anywhere in Europe.
