What you will love about this home
We have a modern house which is easy to maintain on one level with an outdoor dining area with sun lounges and lawn to relax in.
This is our second residence so we could swap for guest points or simultaneously.
We’re a couple in our 50’s with 3 children loving travel and good food.
Our home backs onto the woods and is in a lovely tidy neighbourhood with plenty of hiking trails. We are very close to the biggest pine park in Europe and 2.5hrs. drive from Zurich Airport.
Our home is a non smoking home (inside and out). There may be a cleaning fee of CH 30 if there are consecutive swaps and I am not there to check.
What you will love in the neighborhood
We are surrounded by some of Switzerland’s best skiing areas which can run for kilometres!! Zermatt is a famous tourist destination and we have loys of lovely restaurants along the drive and areas to explore We are a short distance to the Sion markets, the Alaina Bay surfing www.alaiabay.ch , Leukerbad thermal baths, Verbier, the Aletsch glacier, 1hr. to Berne and 1hr. to lake Geneva where you can cross the border to Switzerland.
Our weather is spectacular and our area is perfect for those who love the outdoors: hiking, surfing, cycling, stand up paddling etc, etc.
Canton Valais is a popular holiday destination and we are not far away from the old village of Leuk where you can explore the history of the old village including the castle.
For the more adventurous, you could drive up to Interlaken. Interlaken is a statistic town and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is an important and well-known tourist destination in the Bernese Highlands region of the Swiss Alps, and the main transport gateway to the mountains and lakes of that region. The town is located on the flat alluvial land called Bödeli between the two Lakes of Brienz to the east and Thun to the west and alongside the river Aare, which flows from one to the other.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Leuk is a small village with lots of history dating back to the Roman times. Our apartment is at the edge of the village with views across The Valley. It is centrally located to explore The Valley and major tourist places like Leukerbad, Zermatt, Nendaz, Montana, Saas-Fee, Anzere and many more are close by. The Valley is a perfect place for hiking biking skiing hot springs and there is also a place you can go surfing.

The Apartment is in our main house and is available all year round for guest points and non-simultaneous exchanges. It is also available through other channels and availability may change on short notice
