This recently renovated three-bed, two-bath home is a comfortable 1,898 square-feet complete with a great room, breakfast bar, kitchen, coffee nook, and laundry room. All bedrooms have queen beds. My home has a beautiful fenced and shaded back yard and a large screened-in outdoor living space for dining or unwinding. Viewing colorful sunsets and listening to the treefrogs are a favorite way to relax at the end of the day.

This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood located close to local shopping and attractions. Amelia Island is just over 6 miles away and boasts 13 miles of beautiful beaches, abundant wildlife, and pristine waters. The historic city of Fernandina Beach offers colorful history, museums, boutique shopping, Victorian architecture, dining, pubs and bars, live theater and music, art galleries, boat tours, kayaking tours, putt putt courses, and more. Fort Clinch State Park has a fishing pier, public beach, camping grounds and a historic fort more than 170 years old.
Amelia Island’s historic district has fun for everyone, day and night. Fernandina Beach is home to the oldest bar (The Palace) and the oldest hotel in Florida (Florida House Inn). The National Register of Historic Places recognizes and protects 50 blocks and 400 structures in downtown Fernandina Beach. Amelia Island Trolleys provide narrated tours of the historic district and Old Town. Eagans Creek is a favorite destination for runners, walkers, and lovers of wildlife. The Fernandina Harbor and Marina is a favorite place to catch sunsets, watch for dolphins and manatees, and admire boats of all varieties.
Amelia Island, known for its Victorian homes and pirate legends, was named one of the best islands in North America by various reputable travel publications and was featured in the book “1000 Places to See Before You Die.” If you’re a golfer, our home is conveniently located near several world class golf courses, including Amelia Island Ritz Carleton, Omni Amelia Island Resort, Amelia National Golf and Country Club, and the Golf Club at North Hampton, to name a few … A 20-minute drive north to Kingsland/St Mary, GA, are more golfing options, Osprey Cove and Laurel Island Links. If you want to go the extra mile, Jacksonville has a myriad of golf opportunities including the TPC at Sawgrass and The World Golf Village and Hall of Fame, both are about a one-hour drive.
Another local day trip is Cumberland Island National Seashore. Your journey begins with a 30-minute drive to in St Marys, Ga, where you will board the ferry bound for Cumberland Island National Seashore. On the island you will find a visitor center and museum. Preserved and protected for future generations, Cumberland Island National Seashore includes a designated Wilderness area, undeveloped beaches, historic sites, cultural ruins, critical habitat and nesting areas, as well as numerous plant and animal communities. Interpretive and educational programs are available and you may hear compelling stories of the many people who have shaped and been shaped by Cumberland Island.
Our home is located 30 miles north of Jacksonville and 64 miles north of St. Augustine, making both cities easy day trips. Jacksonville and St. Augustine provide a multitude of options for a day out, more beaches, dining, bars, tourist attractions, and more history. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is one hour by car. Jeckyll Island is just over an hour and is home of the Summer Waves water park, a sea turtle rescue center, and a really cool driftwood beach. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is an easy 30-minute drive south and is a beautiful facility with all the big animals everyone wants to see. Northeast Florida has plenty of activities for families, couples, and friends.

If you want to wander farther, there are plenty of doable options: historic Savannah (1 hour, 45 minutes), historic Charleston (3 hours, 15 minutes), Daytona Beach (less than 2 hours) Orlando (Disney, Universal, Sea World, etc.) are about 2.5 hours away. If you enjoy crystal clear water, this home is within approximately two hours from several of Florida’s most popular natural springs. A trip to the springs on a hot day is a great choice. The springs offer a variety of activities including swimming, snorkeling, scuba, kayaking, and tubing on a natural lazy river teeming with wildlife.
Jacksonville International Airport access is quick and easy from our home, less than 20 miles requiring less than a half hour travel time.

- Place all dirty dishes in dishwasher and start before departing.
- Strip beds and leave them on the bedroom floor.
- Place dirty bathroom linens in tubs.
- Place all dirty kitchen linens in the washing machine.
- Cleaning fee is waived for reciprocal exchanges.
Please be courteous of our neighbors by keeping volume down. Quiet time begins at 10 pm on weeknights, midnight on weekends.
