SPECIAL NOTES:
- Guest Point and exchange requests for 1 week minimum.
- Home is 3 stories with no railings up to the third floor (all bedrooms and full baths upstairs). Home, deck and hot tub not appropriate for young children or mobility impaired/disabled. As this is an old country home, there are various tripping hazards around as walking surfaces are uneven, including neighborhood sidewalks (or lack thereof).
Our home backs up to a babbling creek, with a spacious deck and hot tub. Guests love to sit on the back deck by the fire pit or in the hot tub, or cozy up on the living room sofa.
We recently remodeled much of the interior of the house, so there is fresh paint throughout, new flooring and an entirely new kitchen with top of the line appliances. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and laundry are on the second floor of the house. The primary bedroom (2nd floor) has a Cal king bed and ensuite bath with tub. The guest bedroom (2nd floor) also has a Cal king and a bathroom across the hall with shower. The third floor of the house is small and bright with a queen bed but no closet or door. It is open to the stairs down to the other bedrooms. It has nice views over the neighborhood and mountains, but is three flights up the stairs (and one flight above the bathroom).
The home office is downstairs next to the living room and does not have a bed, but we provide up to two twin air mattresses if needed.
Two important notes:
* We are working on some home projects, to update and finish our home. We hope to have landscaping complete by Summer 2024.

We are just a short two blocks from the sweet village shops and restaurants of Fairfax. This great Marin town is the place to be if you enjoy mountain biking, road cycling, and/or hiking. There are countless trails right out the door. You can even hike all the way to Mount Tam from here if you want!
Several other charming Marin towns are only a short drive away, including San Anselmo, Larkspur, Mill Valley and Point Reyes Station.
The Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco is just a 20 min drive from the house.

Cleaning Fee: We pay $140 for professionally cleaning the house before guests arrival and ask that the guests cover this charge upon their departure. In simultaneous reciprocal exchanges, we suggest that each hosting party pay to professionally clean their own house without a need for money to exchange hands.
We highly recommend renting a car to explore all that Marin has to offer.
