Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
This traditional stone house is built right on the sand. It was build back in 1995 and since then we haven't changed almost anything. You'll fall asleep and wake up to the gentle sound of the waves and the birds.
Just a week here will leave you feeling completely refreshed. Many of our guests say that the photos don't do it justice – the sensation of this balcony feels far better in person.

You can request to book both floors if you need it.

Lefkes Beach, a charming mix of sand and pebbles, is just a 6-minute drive from Dryopida village, which offers three grocery shops and plenty of places for lunch and dinner. It's also only 15 minutes by car from both the island's capital, Chora, and the main port, Merichas. The tamarisk trees provide natural shade on the sand, and the crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming.
Next to our house is Mrs. Yiannoula's traditional tavern, which serves delicious Greek food (mama’s style)

a.) Lavrio Port: The ferry takes 90 minutes to reach Kythnos.
b.) Piraeus Port: The ferry takes over 3 hours to reach Kythnos (tickets are more expensive than from Lavrio).
2. **How far is Athens Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) from Lavrio Port?**
It's approximately 25 minute drive. You can grab a taxi from the airport and you shouldn’t pay more than 40euro. (Ask the price before hand)
3. **How far is the house from the port of Kythnos?**
Once you arrive at Merihas port on Kythnos, it's a 15-minute drive to our house on Lefkes Beach. You can park directly outside the door to unload your bags.
4. **How can I get to the house from the port of Kythnos?**
- You can take a taxi. Every port on the islands has a taxi service area. Please ask for it.
- You can also rent a car or bike from the rental services at the port. There is a rental place, "Xalivelakis Rent a Car," 300 meters from where you disembark the ship.
5. **Does the house have good Wi-Fi?**
Yes, the Wi-Fi works perfectly all around the house via Starlink satellites. Speeds exceed 150 Mbps, as shown in a screenshot of a speed test.
6. **Will anyone else be in the house?**
Our house in Kythnos is divided into two floors: the 1st floor and the ground floor. We have never had any issues with guests renting the top floor along with those renting the studio. There is good floor sound insulation, and the stairs used by the top floor guests to access the beach are separate from the side stairs used by the studio guests to enjoy the patio and outdoor views. The top floor and the studio are two separate private spaces with no shared doors or stairs. (You can book both floors if you need the entire house for yourself.)
7. **When does the tavern next door operates? Is it noisy?
Ms.Yannoulas’s tavern next door, operates from June 5th until September 11th. They are open from 10am until 11pm. They have 11 tables and they are full during July and August from 2.30pm until 3.30pm. During this peak time it could get a bit noisy but never to the extent for complains. Nobody ever complained for exseesive noice in our house. (They do not serve fish, only homemade traditional mama's food. Moussaka, lamp with fries , pasta with meatballs, greek salad, cheesepie e.t.e)
