Our luxury house is located in the Midi Pyrenees, in the picturesque department of Ariège, near the historic town of Mirepoix.
Spacious and elegantly decorated our house features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 9 people. The bedrooms are furnished with high-quality linen and plush bedding, providing a restful night's sleep.
The large living area is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with comfortable seating, big dining table, a pellet burner and large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding garden and pool area. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, and there's even a dining area where you can enjoy your meals together.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a base from which to explore the surrounding area, our house provides the perfect blend of luxury and convenience.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, our house is conveniently located next to the voie verte (former railway line converted into greenway route), which is ideal for cycling and walking. Explore the beautiful landscapes, forests, and rivers of the Ariège region and take in the sights and sounds of the local wildlife.
We live just minutes away from the charming bastide town of Mirepoix, which has many shops, cafes and a great traditional farmer's market every Monday.
There are plenty of the outdoor activities available nearby (mountain walks, bike rides, gliding, climbing, caves, etc); check out the local antique shops, cheese shops or venture for a day out in Toulouse or Carcassonne.
We are also short drive away from major landmarks, such as underground river of Labouiche, Château de Foix, Église Notre-Dame de Vals, and Château de Lagarde. These historical sites are a great way to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region and France as a whole.
We are also in driving distance from 3 ski resorts :
* Les Monts d'Olmes - 50 minutes (45km) to the slopes from us
* Ax les Thermes - 1 hour (70km)
* Andorra - GrandValira: 90 minutes (99km)

Le mot de la fin
During the summer season we let out our house as a gîte (maisondebosc.com) but outside this period it is available for both Reciprocal and GuestPoint Exchanges. Please note that we accept GP exchanges for a minimum of 3 nights.
We live in the adjacent house so if you are exchanging with GuestPoints we can introduce you to the local area, invite you for a bike ride or to have dinner with us.
We will ask you to leave the house in the same condition as the one in which you found it (super clean and tidy;-)). All necessary cleaning equipment is on site.
If you don’t like cleaning, our cleaner can take care of it in exchange of a financial contribution.
We live in the adjacent house so if you are exchanging with GuestPoints we can introduce you to the local area, invite you for a bike ride or to have dinner with us.
