A very cosy home with a central location within the Greater Reykjavik area.
The apartment is on the second floor in a small, clean and quiet apartment building (total of three floors, only six apartments in the staircase, no elevator). Perfect for a family of up to four. A lovely living room and kitchen, bathroom with bathtub/shower. Three bedrooms. Lovely balcony with a nice BBQ, table and chairs to use in summer/spring/fall. Everything you need for a pleasant stay in Iceland and a perfect base for your adventures. Wifi included.

Located in Smárar, Kópavogur, the apartment is close to everything you might need during your stay like shopping, groceries, pharmacy, recreation and more. The nearest shopping mall, Smáralind, is just around the corner with everything you'd expect from a nice shopping mall and next to it is also a strip mall that includes a budget grocery store (Bónus), a bank, pharmacy, bakery and more.

The Kópavogur valley is next to the apartment with green areas (in the summer :)), playgrounds and an inflated jumping mattress / balloon for kids in the summer months, as well as local sports facilities like a gym (Sporthúsið), an indoor tennis arena (Tennishöllin), soccer facilities (Fífan / Breiðablik Sports Club) and more. The local geothermal pool Kópavogslaug is close by.

Sky Lagoon is only a few minutes drive away, in the Kársnes area of Kópavogur. From the apartment it will take you about 15 min to drive to downtown Reykjavik and about 1 hour to drive to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO heritage site.
