Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
My home is a modest sanctuary - it is clean, spacious, quiet, adult-oriented, and boasts a beautiful yard on just under a 1/4 acre of land. 6 raised garden beds with vegetables, raspberries, strawberries (depending on the season), and well maintained beautiful perennial gardens. Enjoy the large patio, with propane fire and comfy sitting area, surrounded by willow, cottonwood and poplar trees.
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a queen bed, overlooking the garden, with a private full ensuite. The morning sun filters through cottonwood trees into this room.
Also upstairs is the second bedroom with queen bed, next to the large main bathroom with a deep bathtub.
Downstairs relax and socialize in a main open area with kitchen, dining and living room opening onto the large backyard patio.
I work from home and so there is a large dedicated room for work/study and reading in the afternoon sunlight.
The house is a double townhome. My neighbours are fantastic and quiet. I know many of the people living in the cul de sac - it is a friendly respectful neighborhood.
Please note:
- I do not have a TV or entertainment unit. But I do have a lot of books to read! And a Sonos music speaker in the main living space. Otherwise, bring your laptop for movies.
- My home isn’t the best fit for young kiddos, but I am open to chatting more about this, to ensure a good fit all around!
- Sorry, no pets.

Quiet and friendly neighbourhood. I am on a cul-de-sac so there is no traffic.
My place is a 3 minute walk to Puntledge River with swimming holes, and beautiful network of trails, and the option for tubing down the river into the heart of the town - an iconic local activity!
I am also a one minute walk to a 13 hectare protected park with trails and streams and plenty of wildlife. My yard backs onto protected green space, so despite being in a full neighborhood, there is lots of green space and privacy.
It is an 8 minute bike ride (2 min drive) to downtown Courtenay and its bustling core of shops, restaurants, coffee, seasonal local markets and recreation. It is a 12 minute drive to the township of Comox and the marina and mediterranean-esque beaches. It is a 25 minute drive to Mount Washington for seasonal activities (hiking, skiing, snowshoeing) and a 12 minute drive to the village of Cumberland for its iconic mountain biking trails, artisan shops, local music festivals, and scenic town setting.
A 20 minute drive south down the coastal highways is the ferry to both Denman Island and Hornby Island, and a 40 minute drive north up the coastal highway is the ferry to both Quadra Island and Cortes Island, and from there also the entrance to the wonderous Strathcona Provincial Park, with camping, lakes, mountain, and hiking. All of these are popular tourist destinations and easily accessed from the heart of Comox Valley where I live.
Every season holds beauty and activities, and you are surrounded by options for ocean, river, lake and mountain excursions. This is a gateway valley to meet all your needs for adventure and relaxing.
