Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Located on a mountaintop, our meadow garden is surrounded on all sides by the wild. This stay has three small units that are separated by woods and meadow from one another. Wonderful views including Mt Hood, two A-frame glamping units and a strawbale cottage offer comfort and solitude. Have your own private sleeping space with outdoor communal areas! Shared pavilion has kitchen and hot shower just for your group. Low EMF setting. This is a rustic setting, perfect for those who want to commune with nature.
1. A strawbale cottage.
2. A small A-frame.
3. Another A-frame.
There is a communal kitchen and bathroom area. The toilet is composting. The entire property is "off-grid." Our stay is very popular with rentals, and we are giving this a try! Our offer is more than just a place to stay, it's an absolute experience.
NOTE: I'm terrible at updating this calendar, and I do book on another platform. Please check in with me on dates, and apologies up front if the calendar isn't accurate.
This beautiful slice of the Columbia Gorge is in a secluded and rustic setting.
- Sleeps 10 total. Cottage has two queen beds (one is in an open loft with no door). One A-frame has a queen bed, the other has a full-sized bed and floor mattress.
NOTE: The A-frame with 2 beds technically sleeps 4, but it's a tight fit. Best for families with younger kids, and not for four adults.
-Locally made organic wool/cotton luxurious beds (floor mattress if foam). All of our bedding gets washed every time, so no bedspreads that see multiple users between washes.
- Hot water shower in our pavilion.
-Communal kitchen with grill, cook stove, refrigerator, dishes/flatware, pots, electric kettle, and toaster oven. Propane is provided.
-Refreshing well water.
- Propane fire pit
- Toilet is a very efficient composting toilet, and additional honey pots that are pumped weekly.
-Solar power at the pavilion and cottage. Enjoy nature's light from the moon and stars (i.e. there is no electricity in the A-frames). Wifi available at the cottage.
- Dog bed provided for your furry friend.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We are located in the wild and scenic Columbia River Gorge in Washington State of the USA. This location is remote, and though only a short 20 minute drive to town, is secluded and removed from other neighbors.
GUEST ACCESS:
You will have access to the entire property. We ask that guests stay off of the machinery (tractor and implements).
When you enter the gate, you will drive through our lovely neighbor's property. You will reach out property when the field opens up (a sign will be on your right) marked by a treeline. Please respectfully stay on the road on our neighbor's property, and do not explore his space. Thank you.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
The biggest things to note are the following:
1. Fire danger is always a concern in our neck of the woods, so please be responsible. Do not park vehicles in the grass, and absolutely no campfires. We have a propane fire pit that is available for guest use.
2. We are in a remote area surrounded by the wild. Please be cautious and respectful to all of nature's creatures.
3. Again, this is rustic. There are no smooth walking paths or lighting. Please be capable of walking on uneven terrain.

Le mot de la fin
A few things:
*Well behaved pets are welcome! We loooove dogs, but there is a $50 pet fee.
*There is a cleaning fee: $90 for just the cottage, and $160 if all three units are used (the cottage and A-frames).
*Even though we are in the Pacific Northwest, it is very dry here in the summer, and campfires are banned by law April- Nov.
*We do cultivate plants here. This means that occasionally we have equipment running in the early morning. So far, due to the location of the units and the direction the wind blows, this hasn't disturbed anyone yet. You are welcome to ask questions and poke around.
*Although our location is wild and remote, we are only a 20 minute drive to downtown White Salmon, where you can find restaurants, grocery stores, and supplies. We recommend bringing flashlights and headlamps.
*The road here is bumpy and not suitable for vehicles with low suspension or very tall sprinter vans.
*There is no residence here, so if you are a solo traveler and uncomfortable with camping alone, then this is not a good fit. Not trying to sound scary, just want to provide as much info as possible for happy travelers :)
We look forward to meeting you!
