Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
This is a 3 bedroom house, but most of the time, we are here working and living here and only able to offer use of a stay in our guest room for 1 to 2 people where you will have your own shower and toilet to use on the 2nd floor.
Sorry we are not able to accommodate more than 2 people unless we are away from the house during short periods of time (July-Aug dates are possible for larger groups with a minimum 1-2 week stay).
We are a vegan/vegetarian family that live in a renovated old Japanese house (about 70 years old) with our 3 cats (inside and outside). Our home has a real feel of traditional and modern.
Our home is a 2 story house and the room we have for your stay is on the 2F with its own sink area, your own shower and a shared 2F toilet. We have a 1F terrace and small garden which you are welcome to enjoy and hang your laundry.
Our cats spend most of their time in this little garden with their mama (we rescued and TNR'd them all). There is a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom you are welcome to use and an area to hang your washing outside (we don't have a dryer). There is also a coin laundry nearby that has washers and dryers.
We both work in and outside of the house for the tourism and travel industry in Japan. So we will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. We have spent most of our careers as university educators and now work in the tourism and travel industry in consulting, promotion, education and Joy does guiding as well.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We live on a quiet street in a suburb of Hiroshima city with friendly neighbors. Our area has good public transportation access (a bus stop at the end of our small road) to the main train station in about 15 min by bus, 20 min walking, or 15 min by bicycle.
To get to the center of town (Hiroshima peace park, Hiroshima castle and Shukkei-en Zen Gardens) as well as the main shopping and eating areas it only takes about 10 minutes longer (than the station) to get to by bus, bicycle or on foot.
We have bicycles you may be able to use (let me know ahead of time), or I can help you figure out our local rental bicycle system which is very convenient to get around the main sights in the city.
